We love this campground and this family. They worked so tirelessly to make this a wonderful place before Helene. We loved it so much we had a whole wedding there! They now work twice as hard to make it wonderful again so we have a place to call our home in the mountains. We were so happy to spend time in one of the shelters, we made great friends in camp as always.

To many reasons to list all. However it's important to share they let us reschedule from July when we all had severe flu to this weekend. My granddaughters got to have smores because they helped us with some firewood. Beautiful atmosphere, friendly people and clean accommodations. Just to name a few.

We loved the sites right by the river, so relaxing!! Plenty of room, shower house nearby, firewood n ice easily available, and close to things to do which for us was hiking n waterfall chasing!! Would recommend highly!!

The bathrooms are not clean, they look dirty, it smells horrible, the toilet was detached from the floor, the space. For tents they are too small, the wifi never worked.

Staff was friendly but probably overwhelmed by recent storms. Bathroom was clean. We had electric problems at our sites and ran drop cords. Breaker tripped after hours also and when i flipped the breaker the face plate fell off and hurt my hand. Same was not secure and the door was open. Exposed wires were seen laying on ground around the campground. Seems like the place is in disrepair. Once again probably just overwhelmed and bad timing.

Great spot on the river and scenic views. Easy walk to the village of Chimney Rock. Brewery, wine shop and a couple great restaurants right there. Also great hiking in the area.
