The campground is in a great area. We loved the view, and the sound of the river. The bathrooms were never cleaned and could use an update. It was the end of the season but I feel some permanent residents needed to clean up their sites.

Campsite #2 was a beautiful but the bright street lights at night and busy road make you feel like your camping in the middle of town.

It was absolutely beautiful. We were traveling thru and decided to have a day stop over. After arriving we decided to stay another day. I will definitely go back when we go back to North Carolina.

The sound of sleeping by the river is so nice and why we like to come back and stay! Wi-Fi was great! The campsites are so close you can hear everything going on in the tent beside you so be aware if you have small children or light sleepers. I was hoping with all the updates the bathhouse was cleaner but not somewhere i would take a shower.
