We love this place. At first glance it may not seem like much, but the family that owns it clearly puts a lot of pride into it. Some of the water/electric could use some updates at the older river sites, but they all work. The river is wonderful, the quarry is fun and clean,.. all in all it's one of my favorite places to spend a weekend!

Reason to stay was quarry swimming. They were not even prepared to open it. Said couple hours but it did not happen at all. Very disappointing

Over all the camp grounds were beautiful. My kids had fun playing at the park. But there were a few things that deterred me from coming back. Our original campsite was a low spot and a runoff area and flooded us out. They were able to accomodate another site for us but moving camp took quite a bit of time and energy. There was no quiet time and people were out yelling and screaming all hours of the night into the morning. They also had kereoke going on until 11pm or so two nights in a row. We also learned that there was a tornado a week prior to our reservation which essentially closed all the water activities. I understand weather is unavoidable, but we would have appreciated a notice. Because there were no water activites available and no hiking trails, there wasn't much to do. At that point I would have much rather saved my travel time and expenses and gone somewhere closer with hiking available. A lot of the reason we chose this park was for the water activities. We got a bit annoyed when we saw that there were kids on a boat in the water. The office ladies said they were workers, but they were kids tooling around the lake. It was a bit infuriating given the situation. I can't say that I would make the trip back there. Maybe if I was closer.

Cool campground. They had a tornado the weekend before that brought down several trees on the property. Our site was affected and we had to take power from our assigned site but water from a site next to us that was unusable due to damage to the electric. Great playground for kids, activities at the pavilion every night. The docks were also damaged by the storm, but the water activities looked cool too. We will go back for sure.

The grounds were in nice shape, other then tall grass, considering a Tornado had swept through the area in the past week. Water was yellow and had a noticeable smell and taste. Would recommend bringing your own water. The main attraction was closed all weekend, we were bummed about that. However considering the circumstances we understand.

This was actually the worst camping experience I’ve ever had due to mother nature. However, the people who ran the camp were very accommodating and did their best to make changes and arrangements for our party and that was most appreciated. While we were there, we had a major rain storm of about 2 inches in one night so our campsite quickly was flooded. The campground management moved us to a new location on higher ground and in our opinion, much better location. However the next day was a tornado and it blew several trees down just behind where we were parked and throughout the park. We were without power and water most of the time we were there. Again, no fault of the owners. Those folks worked very hard to get things cleaned up and back to normal and they were very accommodating to us during our stay here.

Campsite was great except the fire ring was surrounded by weeds and we had no way to clear it

Upon arrival we were notified that our sight was 168, even though we booked site 183. I think there is a glitch in your system booking process and would suggest that you review this. We moved to site 180. Fast forward to Saturday, there was a terrible storm that came through the area, which is no one’s fault obviously we all lost power for over 18 hours and I felt really bad for the owners because the experienced significant damage to their property and their own homes, however they had many weekend campers that also experienced damage not to mention many trees had fallen or uprooted which resulted in zero access to exits within the campground. We were all basically stuck in the campground with no power which is also fine, yet the owners or employees should have personally come around to let us know the proper access roads for departure as well as dumping station access or lack there of. Poor Management we will not return

Sites not described well online. They had to move us to a different one to fit. No quiet hours here, people seem to love to drive around with air horns at 1:00am. Who does that? Not going back

A very nice campground we lost power while we were there…..a tail end of a tornado came through n destroyed campers and trees were down but the staff was very good about getting things cleaned up…it definitely makes u think of a survival kit for next time

We had really nice weather and it was a much better stay this time. The last time it flooded and we got evacuated, which was not their fault. And they did an awesome job waking us all up and getting us out of there. I love how they let us set up our sites how we want! We had a great time!
