We love this campground!! Pool, food, and staff, are wonderful! lThe bathrooms were much cleaner, this year.❤️ It would be nice, at some point in the future, to build new ones.👍

The pool and front registration area were new and nice but the basketball/corn hole area looks like it is never used and the cabin was spacious but musty smelling and the pull out was not great for sleeping. I felt bad asking my kids to sleep there.

Very nice spot, lots of amenities just a little more congested in spacing for camp spots then I am use to. Nice and close to everything.

We had a group that stayed in lots 100-102. Lots are great for a big group we had plenty of space to hang out, have tables set up and gather around 1 of the fire pits! Kids had plenty of areas to play around the campground. Only thing from being 5 stars is they close down the showers and shut off hot water. We have some early risers who had to wait for showers who could have showered when they got up, verse waiting. Then you are waiting around for open hot showers.

I really enjoy this campground and love the campsite 162 that I have camped in the past two years!! I love that there is a restaurant, camp store, and other amenities like the laundry facility and shower house, since I don’t have a fully self contained camper! The employees were friendly and the vibe was great! One thing I would like to see improved is the lighting in the pit toilet bathroom. It is so dim in there, especially at night.

This campground is great! Lots of activities. This weekend they had food trucks and coffee stations. Outdoor movies and Singo! The campground itself is nice as well, very wooded, lots of shade.

We love camping at Hideaway. It is our favorite campground and hoping to get a seasonal site there when they have one available. Halloween weekend is alot of fun for kids and adults.

Pros : Camp sites are pretty good size. We had plenty of room to move around. They have a restaurant on premises and the food was good. Ppl seem to like their pizza. They had live music 1 night. (60s 70s & 80s) The play area for the kids was nice with modern equipment. Cons : Bathrooms are way out of date. They have those small, round toilets like in old homes, that when you flush, you hope it goes down. Because of that, 1 is always backed up in all the restrooms. Showers are worse than a truck stop. They're ok, but way out of date. They're dark, gloomy, with no shelves to put your things on. (They do have hooks tho) They're pet friendly, but have NO trash cans anywhere except in the bathrooms, making disposing of poo a chore. Because the dunes are so close, you can guess what most of the campers bring with them. Yes, loud 4x4s, ATVs, and so on. It is NOT a quiet campground. (Unless you go during the week) but there may still be a truck or two around.
