Hideaway Campground & Resort — Reviews

We love this campground. Sites are a bit tight but overall we'd recommend this campground to anyone. Bathrooms/showers are clean and have plenty of space. Water pressure and temp are amazing as well!

The park was great! Lots of seasonal Lots but the temporary Lots were still well maintained. We booked a lot online after putting in our camper dimensions but when we arrived the person attending the check in booth was afraid we wouldn't fit so they moved us and with that got an upgrade to water/electric at no extra charge. The lots were nice but seems a few are on hills or have obstacles that make it a bit harder for larger units to fit and our neighbors ended up several feet into our lot to fit their ATV trailer next to their unit which was quite annoying but not the fault of the campground. We didn't use the pool during our stay but it looked clean and well maintained. They were working on the camp store and lighthouse grill while we were there so we couldn't check those out but would love to go back and see them ones its done! A great campground to be at Silver Lake while still feeling like you are back in the woods. You will hear lots of boats and ORVs still but that is to be expected at Silver Lake! Would definitely visit again!

It was a good campground, clean and large sites. But seasonal campers were cutting wood at their lot even though it is against camp rules.

This place is not for transient campers. It clearly caters to its seasonal renters.

5 stars would be for full hook-up and firewood and beer delivered to the sight. The campground was very nice. Well maintained, nice pool, nice amenities. Enjoyed breakfast at the lighthouse grill. Great location. Nice lots. Really enjoyed the pool and the general store.

Campground was great. Very clean campsites,pool,bathrooms, everything. Very nice staff and seasonal campers. Didn't get a chance to try the food from the inside grill though but wifi was strong even in the very back of the campground. Will stay again
