Cancellation Policy

The Higgins Lake Campground Cancellation Policy

All reservations must be paid according to the payment terms outlined at the time of booking. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided when the reservation is completed. By making a reservation, you agree to abide by The Higgins Lake Campground cancellation policy and all campground guidelines during your stay.

Payment Terms for Advanced Reservations

Reservations made more than 160 days prior to arrival may choose to pay a minimum deposit of 20% at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to the original scheduled arrival date.

Please note:

  • The 20% deposit is non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled.

  • This deposit is equal to our standard 20% cancellation fee.

  • If a reservation is cancelled, no portion of the minimum 20% deposit will be refunded.

Reservations made within 160 days of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.

NEED TO CANCEL?

If you need to cancel your reservation, cancellations must be completed through your reservation portal located in your confirmation email by the deadlines listed below to be eligible for a refund. Text messages, direct messages, phone calls, or mailed notifications are not accepted as valid cancellation requests.

Please note reservation payments made after the following deadlines are non-refundable and the entire payment will be forfeited. Cancellations made after the following deadlines will result in entire payment beings forfeited:

Standard RV/Tent Reservations

  • Cancellations confirmed at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival will receive a refund minus a 20% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival, or payments made after this deadline, are non-refundable and the full payment will be forfeited.

Standard Accommodations (Cabins, Lodges, Yurts) Reservations

  • Cancellations confirmed at least 30 days prior to scheduled arrival will receive a refund minus a 20% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival, or payments made after this deadline, are non-refundable and the full payment will be forfeited.

Holiday and Special Event Reservations

  • Cancellations confirmed at least 90 days prior to scheduled arrival will receive a refund minus a 20% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations made within 90 days of arrival, or payments made after this deadline, are non-refundable and the full payment will be forfeited.

A no show will be treated as a cancellation outside of the above guidelines and no refund will be issued. If you will be arriving after 11:59PM, please notify the campground in advance. Failure to notify the campground may result in your site no longer being available.
