Very quiet yet close to town.

Easy in/out. Just stopped for night on way through. Staff very friendly. Bathrooms very clean.

A great campground and a great location. We stayed for about two weeks. The staff is great and were very helpful. Also a great location, very close to Elkin. If you haven’t been, go!

Easy to access and clean Love the Italian restaurant in the Food Lion Plaza!

We were told to text the camp host for firewood over a long weekend. The camp host didn’t answer for >3 hours despite also calling and leaving a message. Good thing we weren’t having an emergency. By the time we received an answer, the rain we were trying to beat had arrived. It was a little disappointing since it was our last night.

What a wonderful campground !!! Recommend to all !

The guy mowing grass was very inconsiderate of vehicles , blowing grass all over them! Otherwise it was fine

Wide open campground with plenty of room to maneuver and park our 44’ Class A. Excellent welcome and site preparation. This facility would easily accommodate our rig with a tow vehicle and we would stop here again.

Hometown RV earned the 2 stars for the good wi-fi, clean bathrooms, and the access via path to the trails along the river. However, there are some serious flaws that made our stay less than ideal. The condition of the picnic tables especially the one on our site was terrible, warped with mushrooms or something that looked like mushrooms growing out all of the seams. Secondly, we were parked in site 31 near what looked like an overgrown drain bed which could have easily been weed whacked to reduce bugs, and improve aesthetics, but also needed attention to rid the wasps that swarmed daily. Lastly, the only other item that merits mention is that the water pressure for showering was extremely weak Hometown RV is in a great location and with a little extra attention could be a really nice campground.

So pretty and nice. We enjoyed our stay!

Fun weekend!! Very nice campground!!

What a great place to stay. The park is fairly quiet with lots of room to spread out and walk around. The river and greenway are within walking distance of the property. Everything was well maintained. The woman in the office was so pleasant. We arrived after dark in the worst storm. Two gentlemen saw me trying to help my husband back into a site that went a bit uphill from an awkward direction and knew he wasn’t able to see a thing in the pitch black torrential rain so they came running over with flashlights to help us. We all got soaked but they got us where we needed to be. Let’s just say the entire weekend was perfect despite the weather. We will make the trip to Hometown RV again later this year so we can enjoy more of what the area has to offer. Thanks for a great stay!

Easy check-in. Very hospitable on the phone. Bathrooms were very clean.

It was a nice quiet place. Spotless bathrooms and laundry area. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.
