Nice campground. A bit pricey what they offer. Several uneven sites including mine. Very friendly follow campers. Good place for a short stay

Checked in for 4 days of camping so I could ride my motorcycle in the Blue Ridge. Very friendly staff at check in. Site and roads are gravel, but well packed, so no issues riding on 2 wheels. Long site - no problem fitting truck and 44 foot toyhauler with room to fold down TH ramp. Hurricane Ian showed up after 2 days so I told the office I was leaving early. I had no reason to expect a refund and did not ask. However, the very helpful lady at the desk volunteered that I'd get 2 night's credit for a future stay. Very nice! The campground itself is nothing fancy, but well kept. It seems they are making efforts to add things and improvements. Playground, large area to walk dogs, "hammock garden", gazebo for gatherings. Nice location by hiking trail along river. Visit Elkin while here.

Great place to stay!!

It was very quiet, so we would love to see some activities to involve the campers at the park and bring them together. The food truck was only there for a few hours and not visible unless you were near the front of the park or were going to the camp store.

Very first time experience rving was not what we expected! We thought something was wrong with our brand new, just bought, first time rv when we couldn’t get anything to work! Found out that the electricity was out over the whole park! A beer bottle and a piece of the last peoples rv were on and under the table.

We really appreciated the flexibility of being able to book a site on line same day, and check-in after hours on a Sunday. However, the only downside was we never received the Bath House Code or the Wifi Password (in the email that was sent to confirm our reservation, the Wifi Passcode was cut off and excluded from the text, and I never got a reply from the voicemail I left with the office number.

Great facility. The cleanest bath house I have ever seen, and I have camping for thirty years. Full hookups and close to everything. A terrific campground!

Everything was good except for the site had lots of ground water from down pours. Can’t help the weather. Seems like a Nice campground with tons to do.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. The park had the amenities that we needed for our RV. The park itself was a great location and easy to get in and out. It’s location was easily accessible to shopping and the wineries we wanted to visit. Also, I had a bad sore throat and right across the street was a nice urgent care. The Park staff was kind to let us stay a few hours pass check out as I awaited my tests results. Would definitely return! Our only negative was our spot was not level at all, but we made it work satisfactory enough. We did not visit the showers nor laundry so I can’t comment on that. It was a quiet RV park, just far enough off the road to be quiet, but close enough to everything in town.

If I could give more stars I would! This is a great park with the best staff. Our pull-through site with 50 amp FHUs was level solid base with small grass area, picnic table and fire ring. The WiFi repeater was on our pedestal so we had super fast park WiFi - the best we've had anywhere. Several repeaters throughout the park so the speed is likely consistent. Surrounded by large trees with smaller trees throughout. So nice to be able to get satellite in North Carolina mountains! It rained every day and there was some standing water off and on but we never had to walk in water or mud to access our rig. Trash picked up every morning at site and grounds are well maintained by their active crew. While here we had a medical emergency which required an extension of our time. They took all the stress out of it and made sure I was able to stay the extra days in the same spot. Both senior and weekly stay discounts were applied. I will always remember what good care they took of us! Lawn games, hammocks, covered picnic tables and hiking trail included.

Upon arrival we waited about 20 minutes inside the office waiting for someone to appear….. she finally showed up and was OK but not very friendly. Our site appeared to be in the middle on long term sites (not kept up very well) Guys were working on their trucks with air wrenches so it sounded like we were camping in a mechanics shop. Loud obnoxious profanity outside for a 6am wake up. Our site was far from level and when it rained the water drained from the higher sites and ran down and flooded our site 27. We packed up and left a day early. Won’t go back

Wish they had more to do.

Campground was neat and clean. Easy level campsites. We took kayaks and was picked up and drop off right at our site. Greenway walking trail is right there and runs along the river.
