Hopkins Park Campground — Reviews

Camp ground was amazing the seasonal lot holders that we spoke to were all such a great group of people! Will definitely look at coming back to stay next year without a doubt!

The sites were very tight and the dump station is pretty much inaccessible.

Small site but didn't matter much because we used it as a home base to check out sleeping bear to the north to the casino in manistee to the south and many lake michigan beaches in between

It was a great spot to stay! Everyone was very friendly and the campground itself is a safe family-friendly spot. We loved being right on the lake and the bathrooms were mostly clean. The managers gave us local recommendations for food and shops.

The park was clean and beautiful. Small and quiet. Our girls had a blast fishing. It was nice waking up every morning to the lake. Beautiful sunsets! Our dogs enjoyed as well! Our neighbors were great also!

Site was narrow but clean. Pleasant and helpful hosts. Bear Lake has very clear water.. Biked 11 miles around the lake. Not much in the town of Bear Lake but close to a lot of nature to explore.

Safe campground, super clean bathrooms!!

It was quiet and clean. Felt safe camping by myself as a single woman

The managers were very friendly and helpful. The sites were well kept and pleasant. The scenery was breathtaking and relaxing. All my neighbors were friendly and it felt like home away from home. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with necessities. Wood readily stocked for the nights campfire. I’m definitely planning to revisit.

Great location and great view of Bear Lake

We had a nice stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The one negative thing is the main shower stall could use a makeover.
