Hopkins Park Campground — Reviews

The campsite was right on the water, the view was nice, water and electricity were conveniently located, and it was easy to find. Online check-in was easy and there was wi-fi. Picnic tables, fire rings, parking as described. The only reason I give a 4/5 instead of 5/5 is that the bathrooms were run down and I the street lights on the campground were very bright, making it hard to sleep and harder to enjoy the beautiful stars in the night sky. I would suggest turning the street lights off after 10:00 pm. Other than that we had a nice stay!

Everything was as promised. It’s a nice small peaceful campground!

There was more road noise particularly semis and loud cars than expected. Campsites are small but there is a nice view of the water. We also had many earwigs following a rainy evening

It was very comfortable and scenic. The other guests were very friendly. It was very enjoyable.

The site was very small, couldn’t use fire pit, bathrooms were tiny and old. Not very modern, needed quarters for showers. Not my favorite campground, only stayed one night.
