Terms & Conditions

By making a reservation, entering the property, or staying at Huron Pines Campground (“the Campground”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions, the Refund/Cancellation Policy, the Pet Policy and all posted Park Rules.

1) Family Campground Standard

Huron Pines is a family campground. To protect the experience for all guests, the Campground does not allow behavior that is disruptive, inappropriate for families, or unsafe.

Excessive alcohol use, illegal drug use, marijuana use (including smoking/vaping), and foul/abusive language are prohibited. Management may require any guest or party to leave for violating this standard. No refunds will be issued in these situations.

2) Assumption of Risk / Release of Liability

Camping and recreational activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, weather, wildlife/insects, fire, and vehicles.

You voluntarily assume all risks related to your stay. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and agree to hold harmless Huron Pines Campground, its owners, managers, employees, and agents from claims or liability for injury, death, loss, or damage arising from or related to your stay, except to the extent caused by the Campground’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.

3) Responsibility for Your Party (Including Children & Visitors)

The registered guest is responsible for the actions and conduct of everyone in their party, including children, visitors, and invitees. Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their party, or their pets.

4) Personal Property / Theft / Vehicle Damage

The Campground is not responsible for personal injuries or for damage, loss, or theft of personal property or vehicles. Please secure your belongings. Use of the Campground is at your own risk.

5) Right to Refuse Service / Removal for Rule Violations

The Campground is privately owned. Management reserves the right to refuse service, deny access, or terminate a stay for violations of these Terms, posted rules, unsafe behavior, disorderly conduct, or conduct that disturbs other guests.

Eviction/removal due to rule violations, disorderly conduct, illegal activity, excessive drinking, drug/marijuana use, or abusive/foul language results in immediate forfeiture of all fees with no refund.

6) Check-In / Check-Out

  • Check-in: 2:00 PM
  • Check-out: 12:00 PM (Noon)

Late check-out or early check-in may be available only with management approval and may include an additional fee. If a guest remains on-site past check-out without approval, additional day charges may apply.

7) Registration & Visitors

All guests and visitors must check in/register upon arrival. Visitor fees may apply. Visitors must follow campground rules and may be limited in number. Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight unless approved by management.

8) Site Occupancy Limits

Each site has a maximum occupancy. Unless otherwise posted/approved:

  • Maximum 8 people at a site at any time
  • No more than 4 adults per site
    Management may enforce stricter limits depending on site type.

9) Vehicles, Parking & Speed

  • Speed limit is 5 mph throughout the Campground.
  • Only licensed drivers may operate motor vehicles on property.
  • Park only in designated areas and do not block roads or access points.
  • Standard limit: 1 camping unit + up to 2 vehicles per site, unless otherwise approved.

10) RV / Camper Standards

All RVs, motorhomes, and travel trailers must be safe, operable, and maintained in acceptable condition. Management may refuse access to any unit deemed unsafe or unacceptable.

11) Site Cleanliness / Trash / Damage Fees

Sites must be kept clean. Trash must be disposed of in designated receptacles/dumpsters. Do not leave trash out overnight or in fire rings.

Cleaning/damage fees may be charged for excessive trash, debris, damaged grounds, or abandoned items (up to $200 or actual cost of cleanup/repair, whichever is greater).

12) Fires & Firewood Policy

Fires are allowed only in designated fire rings/grills and must never be left unattended. Burning trash is prohibited.

No outside firewood is allowed. Only firewood purchased/approved by the Campground may be burned to help prevent the spread of invasive pests and tree diseases. Violations may result in confiscation and/or removal from the Campground without refund.

13) Quiet Hours / Courtesy

Quiet hours are 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (or as posted). Excessive noise, amplified music, and disruptive conduct are prohibited.

14) Photo / Video Release

By entering the Campground, you grant Huron Pines Campground permission to photograph and/or video you and members of your party while on the premises and to use such images for lawful purposes (including marketing and promotional use) without compensation.

15) Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Campground’s posted Refund & Cancellation Policy. In general: no refunds after check-in; no refunds for weather, early departures, or unused days. Holidays are non-refundable. 

16) Policy Updates

Rates, rules, and policies may change at any time. The version posted on the website, at the office, and/or provided at booking governs.

Cancellation Policy

Camping is an outdoor experience. Refunds will not be issued due to weather, discomforts of nature, illness, work conflicts, or early departure.

All cancellations must be made through the reservation system or by calling the campground office. Email cancellations are not accepted.

All Site Types

  • 29+ Days - 100% refund minus a $10 cancellation fee per site
  • 15-28 Days Prior to Arrival - 50% refund of total reservation
  • 7–14 Days Prior to Arrival - 25% refund of total reservation
  • 0–6 Days Prior to Arrival - No refund

Holiday and Special Event Reservations

Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Fourth of July, Christmas in July, Labor Day and Halloween weekend reservations are non-refundable within 30 days of arrival.

If cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival - Refund minus applicable cancellation fee

No Shows

Reservations will be held until 11:00am the day after scheduled arrival. If you are going to be late, please call the office to notify of ETA.
Failure to arrive without prior cancellation will result in full forfeiture of funds and your site to be given away.

Early Departure

No refunds will be issued for early departure.

Non-Refundable Fees

The following fees are non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing:

• Reservation/booking fees
• Site lock fees

Refund Policy

Camping is an outdoor experience. By making a reservation at Huron Pines Campground, you acknowledge and agree to the following refund terms.

General Refund Terms

  • There will be no refunds after check-in.
  • No refunds will be given for inclement weather, discomforts of nature, illness, work conflicts, or travel interruptions.
  • No refunds for unused days or early departures.
  • No refunds will be issued for guests asked to leave due to failure to follow campground Rules & Regulations, disorderly conduct, or violation of policies.
  • Holiday reservations are non-refundable.

Pet Policy

We welcome well-behaved pets. For the safety of all guests (and the comfort of your pet), the following rules apply:

  1. Leash Required
    All pets must be on a physical leash 6 feet or shorter at all times and under the control of an adult.
  2. No Unattended Pets
    Pets may not be left unattended outside.
  3. Clean Up Required
    Owners must pick up and properly dispose of pet waste immediately.
  4. Noise & Aggression
    Excessive barking, aggressive behavior, or pets that disturb others are not allowed. Management may require removal of the pet and/or guest party without refund if issues persist.

Restricted Areas
Pets are not permitted in any posted restricted areas (including buildings/amenities as posted). Service animals are permitted.
