CAMPGROUND RULES

Fees - Camping fees are collected in full at the time the reservation is taken.  Visa and Master Card are accepted.  Cheques will Not be accepted. 

Cancellation – Should you need to cancel your reservation we require a 72-hour notice prior to reservation date in order for you to receive a refund minus $5 administration fee and 3% transaction fee.  A refund for the full reservation dates will NOT be refunded should your cancellation be less than 72 hours.

Check in/out times – If the site you are in is reserved for another party for the following day, please vacate the site no later than 2pm on the next day.  If you have made reservations for more than one consecutive night, failure to check in on the first night of the reservation will result in your losing your reservation, unless the office is notified otherwise. Check in time is 2:00pm unless your reserved site is vacant already when you arrive.

Quiet time – Quiet time is from 11pm to 7am.  Guests are required to keep noise at a level that will not disturb other guests.  Violation will result in being asked to leave.

Washrooms – Washrooms are cleaned daily and are there for all campers’ use, so please help us keep them clean and tidy.

Fires – Fires are permitted in firewood rings only.  Firewood is free by accessing the locker with the code: 1254

Pets – Pets must be attended to and leashed at all times, at no time are they allowed to be loose and running in the park.  Please pick up after your pets.

Trash – Dumpsters are provided - please use them.

Group camping – When booking more than one site, you will be required to pay for all sites reserved, plus all the dates at the time of the reservation.  The County  will not be responsible for allocating various sites for those in your group. That will be the responsibility of the group coordinator.

FOLLOWING THESE RULES WILL HELP US HELP YOU AND IN TURN MAKE YOUR STAY WITH US MORE ENJOYABLE!

FIRE PERMIT - Summer 2025: If there is a TOTAL FIRE BAN in place during your stay, the $7.00 per night fee will be 100% refunded to your credit card AFTER your stay within 5 business days. Thank you for your understanding and patience. If camp fires are permitted, there will be zero tolerance for leaving your fire pit unattended at any time.

  1. Check-in Time is 4:00pm (if site is already vacant your can move in earlier the same day) and Checkout Time is 2:00pm.  Quiet time must be respected between 11 p.m. to 7a.m as per County of Grande Prairie Parkland Bylaw.
  2. The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable.  No refunds will be offered.
  3. We are a "pet friendly" campground, but you must limit the number of pets to a maximum of 2 per campsite.  Your pet(s) must be attended to and leashed at all times.  Please pick up after your pet(s).
  4. Firewood is FREE -  1254 is the code for the firewood locker. Fires are permitted in firewood rings only.
  5. Please note Shower and Washroom Facilities are available. The code for shower building access is - 1254.
  6. Barbecues are permitted but must always be raised off the ground and attended by an adult.
  7. Wifi is FREE - camping1234 is the password.

A $7 nightly fire permit fee will be in place at all County campgrounds to supplement the costs of firewood handling and firepit safety maintenance.

CANCELLATIONS/ALTERATIONS: 

Should you need to cancel your reservation we require a 72-hour notice prior to reservation date in order for you to receive a refund minus $5 administration fee and 3% transaction fee.  A refund for the full reservation dates will NOT be refunded should your cancellation be less than 72 hours.

o   If three days (72 hours) or more before 2:00 pm on the scheduled day of arrival, all camping fees are refunded.

o   If two days (48 hours) or more before 2:00 pm on the scheduled day of arrival, one night's camping fee is forfeited.

o   If less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours' notice before 2:00 pm on the scheduled day of arrival, two nights' camping fees are forfeited.

o   If less than 24 hours' notice, no refund available.
