All of the wooded spots were taken for only a Friday night and we were unable to book those spots as we were planning to stay both Friday and Saturday night. It is understandable that we did not try to book sooner, but those are prime spots and it's disappointing that they can be reserved for a short time limiting those staying longer to the dirt parking spots. I like the park and the convenience of booking, but the dirt camping area is very dusty and the families who camp there use that area to allow their elementary aged children to constantly ride the loop unattended since their spots are in that area. The riders kick up a lot of dust in an area that is not intended for recreational use. We have camped here multiple times and I will camp here again, I just accept that we don't spend much time outside at our campsite when camping in that section.

Last fall the rules were enforced. Our experience this time was much different. Campground host came by Friday around 4p to check us in. But we never saw her again. Then some of the other campers just road their ATV around and around the campground circle all weekend. Finally Sunday (Mother’s Day) they were asked around noon not too.

Campground was filled with loud partiers and people racing STV’s and motorcycles around the campground, we left at 10:30 PM. Not recommended for families.

Gunshots coming way too close to our family! Please post a sign at the entrance stating park rules about firing a gun at Jim Creek. I truly believe most folks don’t know they are breaking the law.
