RV 1 site was perfect - large, easy access and not near anyone else. Tom and the 2 German Sheppards along with Merle the cat, met us at 9pm when we arrived. Had a perfect view of Pilot Mtn and beautiful weather. The location of campground was also easy to get to from Rt52 and tour the area

Excellent view of Pilot Mountain, quiet and peaceful. Wonderful “greeter” dogs to welcome you. Our site RV1 was in a grassy field near entrance. Stayed only 1 night passing through. King, NC is just down the road with lots of places to eat , shop, get groceries. Campground is just off highway with easy access. Get an RV site near the entrance, because the roads further back were rough. Owner was onsite and pleasure to talk to shortly after checking in. Great place to stay if visiting the area.
