Campground is pretty level. Never saw the owner. There is no dump site. You have to upgrade to a more expensive spot ($20+) to discharge you tanks. We were here 4 nights. 2 nights @ $53 and 2 nights @ $63 with water and electric.

Excellent service. Staff always present and ready to answer any questions. Gives good advices. Clean, very close to the town of Joshua Tree (you can walk to it). Right by the National Park. From your campsite you can walk to a regional park with; kid playground, off leash dog park, basketball course, etc. Absolutely kid/family friendly, pets are more then welcome. If you dont mind sand and dust, and a little levelling, you’ll love the place.

Really nice campground, the host is very friendly, showers were warm, there's a really peaceful atmosphere... We had a perfect stay there. Wish we would go back someday. 💖

It was okay. Didn’t use showers so cannot comment on hot water. Bathrooms were fine, cubes were tiny when you stand up, your face is almost hitting the door. It’s dusty and no tables in your spot to enjoy outdoor sitting. I had booked a full hookup, it’s a dirt field divided into sections without trees etc. It’s wasn’t busy so that was a plus but we meant to book the Joshua LAKE park as we were competing in the half marathon. It is central to the main strip and fine for a few days but there are much better camping options in the area. I wouldn’t personally stay again and we only stayed one of the two nights we had prepaid. It was clean and organized, hence the 3 stars.

Loved staying here! The camp host was so kind and accommodating and the campground itself was great! Free fire pits and games, clean bathrooms, and I loved that it was a sandy lot rather than a cement parking lot. It’s also super close to town and the park. We will definitely be back, hopefully for a longer stay next time!

The site is simple but quiet. It is also suitable for larger camping vehicles. The exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the manager deserves special mention.
