    May is bursting with fun and fresh experiences for our campers. We kick off the month with “It’s Time to Gather at the Lake”, welcoming both new and returning guests as we explore the grounds and finish the evening around a glowing campfire under the stars. The following weekend brings our cheerful “Mom’s PJ Party”, created to give moms a chance to relax, unwind, and make special memories with their families. Next, our “School of Fish” weekend invites families to dive into water themed games and hands on activities that highlight the amazing aquatic life found in Pennsylvania’s lakes and streams. Memorial Day weekend fills the campground with energy as families come together for classic celebrations and the official start of summer fun. We close out the month with Keen Lake Carnival, a weekend bursting with fun, excitement, and family-friendly thrills!

    June 1 - July 1

    June at the campground will be filled with exciting activities for guests of all ages. We begin with “Survivor: Keen Lake Edition”, a spirited weekend where campers take on challenges that showcase teamwork, strategy, and outdoor skills. The fun continues with “A Very Merry Unbirthday to You”, bringing whimsical crafts and lighthearted Cheshire Cat and Mad Hatter inspired activities to the campground. Our Father’s Day Celebration is always a highlight, offering special moments to honor dads along with a lively Beach Party and a full lineup of outdoor games. We wrap up the month with the “Keen Lake Luau”, featuring a pig roast, hula dancing, and a memorable visit from an Animal Ambassador from Safari Farms. June promises a vibrant mix of adventure, creativity, and family fun from start to finish!

    July is filled with festive, creative, and high-energy activities designed to bring guests together for unforgettable summer fun. We kick off the month with our “America 250” Celebration, featuring a patriotic boat float, a colorful bike parade, friendly cornhole and horseshoe tournaments, and an evening of live music. The excitement continues with “Mermaids and Mariners”, where campers can dive into treasure hunts, walk the plank, craft seashell jewelry, and set sail on a splashy weekend of adventure. Mid-month, “Let the Games Begin” invites families and friends to join in friendly tournaments, a lively hacky sack competition, and classic field games that bring out everyone’s competitive spirit. We wrap up the month by embracing the holidays a little early with “Vintage Christmas”, complete with festive site decorating, the charming Snow Ball, and cheerful holiday-themed games.

    August is sure to excite, offering a full lineup of fun events for guests of all ages. We kick off the month with “Wild West Adventure at the KL Corral”, where campers can step into the spirit of the Old West and test their skills with horseshoe tosses, lasso challenges, obstacle courses, and Western-inspired treats. Next, dust off your flannels, JNCO jeans, scrunchies, and neon windbreakers for “Back to the ’90s”, a weekend filled with retro games, throwback music, and nostalgic activities that capture the best of the decade. The fun continues with “Color Craze Weekend”, inviting everyone to unleash their creativity through tie-dye, spin art, and vibrant craft projects. Our “Magic & Mischief” weekend brings a touch of enchantment as campers explore their wizarding side with wand-making, potion experiments, and spell-casting challenges. We wrap up the month with “Wildflower & Whimsy”, a serene, soul-soothing experience featuring bath salt making, fairy light jar crafting, forest bathing, and massage therapy for an uplifting celebration of creativity, relaxation, and the simple joys that make life magical.

    September is filled with a mix of fun, flavor, and festive activities that will keep everyone entertained. We kick off the month with a lively Labor Day weekend celebration featuring horseshoe and cornhole tournaments, classic games, and a farewell to summer with a bang. The following weekend, we honor our furry friends during our “Barks and Recreation” weekend, so bring your pet along for fun activities and treats designed just for them, including a pet parade, photo booth, pet paw-print art, and a kids’ “Adopt a Pet” station. Next, we embrace the harvest season with our “Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice” weekend, celebrating the cozy charm of autumn with leaf-themed crafts, pumpkin decorating, pumpkin playdough, and pumpkin seed treats. Finally, we wrap up the month with “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” featuring pumpkin painting, a kids’ Halloween party, and festive activities for the whole family, making September a month brimming with laughter, creativity, and unforgettable memories.

    October is filled with spooky fun and eerie excitement, kicking off with our “This Is Halloween” weekend, where spooky meets festive. Guests can enjoy a costume and golf cart parade, a Halloween dance, site-decorating contests, scavenger hunts, pumpkin painting, and frightfully fun activities for all ages. Next, we embrace our “Oktoberfest” theme, celebrating autumn with laughter, festive games, traditional fall activities, and a touch of German-inspired cheer, no passport required! Guests of all ages can also enjoy seasonal treats from the Flying Deutschman Food Truck, featuring delicious German specialties.
