We always have a great time. The weather was good and we had a fun time kayaking and paddle boarding! We were bummed that the climbing wall wasn't up, but hopefully it'll be back next year Labor Day weekend. This is our annual camping trip and we keep coming back because the staff is great and the people are great! Awesome Christian environment!

The campground is one of the nicest we've stayed at! The owners and camp hosts are absolutely amazing, kind and provide some great recommendations for the area/Chicago. Only negative we would put is the campground shows as having full hook ups on Campspot but there was no sewer hookup. We had specifically picked our site as well and it still showed as having full hookup. Otherwise, we highly recommend staying at King’s!

Only stayed one night, but overall was a nice place to stay. Seems there are alot of permanent or long-term campers there. Even with that being said the property is kept up. There did seem to be a very bad fly problem though no matter where in camp you were. There is a disc golf course & sand volleyball for fun. There is a dump stations up front, but it's very narrow/ short to get in and out of so we chose to go elsewhere.
