We stayed Saturday thru Monday and was a great experience. Most spots seem to be 35-40 feet apart, unlike mom and pop campgrounds that cramb as many people in as possible. everyone that stayed there were very quiet which is a rarity. Very clean, certainly a must stop campground. There are walking and bike trails, a old ore loading dock to walk out on.

Figuring out our site was very confusing. We even had to call the camp host as we couldnt figure out why we paid for and didn't have electric and water. The hookups for our site were behind and on the other side of our neighbor!! Thankfully we have 2 water hoses on board and our 30 amp cord JUST BARELY reached the post.

Very private, small rv grounds, right on Lake Superior and a short walk on the wonderful walking trail to downtown!

Sites are spaced well, lakefront available. The park seemed quiet even though it was the 4th of July weekend. One issue would be that the bathroom/shower doors have a code to open but all campers know the code so, they can walk in on you (happened to me) if they don’t see/look at the Occupied part of the door (can’t see it at night). The City needs to install dead bolt locks on the doors.

Park is kept clean and mowed, restrooms were clean. The campsites are nice sized and very spacey.

It was easy to access. signs are posted in advance so you can navigate in to the campground. Though with everything being done electronically (reservation is advance, checkin done online, other correspondence), checking your email before arriving for pertinent information is becoming a standard practice in the industry. Campground restrooms are being secured 24 hours a day, so you need the code that is sent to you after you complete the online checkin.
