No frills "city" campground tucked between the Cottonwood River and expansive cornfields. Even during the weekend, the sites were sparsely populated, which is exactly what I like. New concrete pads keep your camper level with no work and the spacing between sites is nice. The grounds are clean and so, so quiet. During the week, we were nearly alone - which again, is exactly what I like. Women's shower room is all-in-one with only a curtain for privacy. I did not use - but don't expect anything modern. Water and electric available at each site, the dump station is located a mile away tucked inside a neighborhood - not the most convenient, but totally free with clean water hookup to flush your tanks. Located in a small town with limited conveniences, but if you are looking to get away on a budget and just want peace and quiet - I would highly recommend this stop. I would definitely stop again.

After driving through the park, we chose not to stay. We were planning to utilize one of the tent spots. There were no amenities at all near those spots, and the ground had many puddles. The park map online is deceptive, as they overlay a map of another city park that is nowhere near Kuhar Park.
