Lake Bonham is a 1,020-acre recreation destination in the Prairies and Lakes Region of northern Texas, just south of the Texas-Oklahoma border in Fannin County.

There is a double wide launch ramp for boats, enclosed heated/cooled event center, an open pavilion for parties, a public beach for swimming, a dock for fishing, a playground for the kids, and many lovely camping spots.

Lovely setting in shade under trees near a cove of Lake Bonham. Lovely breeze in the mornings, accessible for taking a dip to cool off. The Camp Host, Stella Stewart goes the extra mile to insure clean restrooms, and extra touches to make the grounds feel cared for and welcoming. Thank you Stella❣️

Camp site was clean. Fire Dept. and Law Enforcement staged during the 4th of July for rapid response. Camp site staff were friendly and accommodating.
