We loved this place. It was quiet until we got an obnoxious neighbor. He didn’t want to follow the burn ban but he got shut down. We’ve been to other campgrounds that had rules that nobody had to follow but they seem pretty on top of things. We are even considering getting on the list for an annual site.

Location was beautiful. Only negative was the site was very unlevel, couldn’t compensate without disconnecting the truck, passing through one night only heading home.

Waterfront campsite. Clean, freshly mowed, well maintained. All the campsites were filled but still felt private with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy.

Not a big fan of this camp spot.com booking campsites for instance everybody has to leave at noon if you want to stay for a late checkout you can't even though there's nobody coming behind you you have to buy another day been going to lake Carl Blackwell for 50 years, if you had your site it was yours until you decided to leave just made arrangements with the park office for late check out you're good to go you could stay Sunday until 7:00 and then roll your rig up and go home, seems like a wasted day at the lake to have to leave by noon, Beaver cove campsites need some maintenance done on their pads there's tremendous drop off ledges there's no reason why the part maintenance crew couldn't take some gravel over there or something and try to level it up a little better, my favorite campsite is pine Grove however you have to book Monday to Monday to be able to stay there or not everybody can book that long they killed the weekend camping.

Had to spend $80 at WalMart due to how un-level spots were. If website would have advised that we could have planned accordingly.

Love just getting out with friends and family. Camp spots are well maintained, plenty of room even though every spot was full being Memorial Day weekend.
