No redeeming qualities. Won’t go back. First, you cannot swim in the lake due to it being a clean water reservoir. Yet, the water is murky and disgusting anyway and I wouldn’t swim in it if you paid me to. Second, there were tarantulas everywhere. In our campsites, in the bathrooms, in the showers, on the roadway that runs through the campground. I understand that nature is nature, but I would have liked to have known about this before I decided to go camping there. Third, it’s expensive for what you get (which is literally just a parking spot). $55 per night and there was nothing to do but look at the lake from a distance. Do not recommend.

Enjoyed the stay as usual. It was our first time staying at Lake Cuyamaca in RV. Loved it Chambers were beautiful. The amenities were exceptional as always, everything was very clean.

My Hubby and I enjoy going to Lake Cuyamaca annually for a weekend trip. While the hubby fishes, I enjoy a good book in our hammock and enjoy the breeze - total mental reset from the everyday busy schedule of work/life. Highly recommend!! A++
