Lake Hemet Campground — Reviews

Weeds were a little high in the camp site.

Cabin was great. Bathrooms & showers were clean & convenient. Lake was beautiful. Only problem i ran into was trying to drop off my key at check out. At 10:50am. There was a line at the gate, person in the booth was on the phone. Waited for 5 minutes. Ran over to the office, no one was around, guest services was closed. Ran back to booth. Person was still on the phone. Ran back to office and shouted to see if any one was there. Maybe have a drop box in clear view for keys.

It was a great time, weather was good. But next time will try full hook ups vs dry camping 😊

The restrooms where so dirty but the area is beautiful

This was our first visit and it certainly will not be our last. We absolutely loved this campground!! It is very clean, it was not noisy or rowdy. Campers appeared to respect the rules. Loved that the staff that rode the golf carts/trucks were constantly going around day and night ensuring that everything was on the up and up. We were also able to see not one, but two Eagles and numerous Hawks. The Forest Service was driving on the road behind us and stated that there was a rattle snake that made its way towards our campsite. Not to fret though, we are in their home territory. We've learned that you just leave them alone, they will eventually make their way. We look forward to returning soon.

It was a lovely, clean spot. Close enough to home to make easy to plan and far enough away so you feel like you’ve gotten away.

We loved how beatiful it was, website pictures were spot in. Loved our lakeview site. Everything was crazy clean. Loved the rules of the 10p noise curfew. Unfortunately left early b/c our neighbors moved in about 9p and proceeded to party until after 1p. Will definitely go here again.

It was great the only thing that on the 2nd night the gas ran out and didn’t have hot water. The trailer was nice and super clean the heating was awesome, being that it was freezing

We love staying at Hemet Lake Campground! The scenery is beautiful, spaces are generous, and compost Bill is an absolutely amazing host! He is so warm welcoming and knowledgeable. I’ve already booked our next trip.

Ron and Lou were very helpful and the campground was nicely kept up. The main Men’s restroom needs a little bit of repairs to fix the leak on one of the urinals.

Lots of modern amenities that go with renting a cabin. The special restrooms and showers for those renting a cabin is definitely a plus Also, Good camping host’s that will help you with any of your concerns or needs.

Great Place to stay 👌 Bill out camp host was asweome!! Very friendly staff, only thing is make sure to bring what you need cause that Market Deli they have on site is very very over priced .....

Lots of goat head stickers in camp spaces.

The trick or treating was amazing and so much fun for the kids. The site had a lot of weeds on it. There were goat-heads that got in the dogs paws.

both in-tent lamps were outta batteries, other than that it was a fresh camping experience with great views.

Everything I expected was there. Everyone was nice and helpful. I will go back again for a longer stay.
