My site was perfect, the area is beautiful and staff very friendly

Nice campgrounds and our host Bill Dalton was excellent in talking to us to see if we needed anything. We had Space 332 which is full hook up for RV and no water connection at all but he called Maintenance crew immediately and help thru this issue. 5 Star for Bill Dalton

Nice big spacious lake view lot, bathrooms was clean. No showers in my camp area 6.. but we just drive over to the neighbors camp site which had showers, the showers were in great clean condition. Only bad thing is there were no trees for shade on my lot area. Also MANY yellow jacket bee bugs which stung 3 of my family members. Next time I will be doing more research when picking a lot that has more shade, and flat land

Nice beautiful campground hidden in the trees next to the lake. We had a lake front site where we just walked up for shoreline fishing. The bathrooms were kept nice and clean. We will definitely be returning.

Because Ariana Kimes, I was able to get my spot. And because of Dystany, I was able to enjoy my stay to the fullest. These two ladies are angels in the eyes of someone who doesn't know how to get to their destination.

It was beautiful, but noisy and by the last day bathrooms were out of supplies and really dirty.

Great place to stay! The river was low, we thought we had a water spot, but our space was dry due to the draught conditions. We had excellent views and enjoyed ourselves. Next time, we plan on a different spot to get a better view.

Our first trip to Lake Hemet. We will definitely go back. Our camp host, Bill, was so attentive and ensured we had plenty of firewood and kept us informed of timing and location of events.

This was a very disappointing experience for myself and my children. Easily the worst camping trip I can remember (and I've been camping my entire life). The Lake and scenery was beautiful, but the campsite was terrible. Absolutely littered with trash, cigarette bitts and broken glass; it was filthy. There was no shade to be had in our site and no fire ring so we couldn't have a campfire. The bathrooms were disgusting, difficult to use they were so bad. I had to go in ahead of my kids to cover the seats (and often wipe them down then cover) because they were so gross. These are kids that have grown up camping- used to the outdoors. The lake itself was also a major disappointment. We had planned to swim the morning session which was advertised as running from 11-2:30. We went to the gates early, around 10:45 and didn't get into the swim area until 11:25, at which time we were told "sorry, you only get to swim until 12:30". The quiet hours were disregarded by a neighboring group of campers and the site management did nothing about it despite numerous calls. Finally other campers had to take it upon themselves to confront the group around 1:30am. My poor kids and I were exhausted the following morning. The experience was so unpleasant we went home a day early. This was a very expensive trip and nothing but a terrible memory. We drove well over 2 hours each way to come stay in filth, get no rest and less than an hour in the lake we cam to swim in. We will never return to this campground. Very very unhappy all the way around.

Overall it was a really good weekend. Bill was amazing! We didn't get to go to the water hole because there weren't lifeguards available but the spot was shady and the weather was nice.

This place was great for family with young children. They were restrooms and showers available The cabin was clean and very nice. It reminded me of a small hotel room minus air conditioning. I love that a small fan was provided which was perfect The only suggestion I have is two fans one for the bedroom and one for the main room. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and a wonderful experience we look forward to staying here again next year.

Bill, the camp host...and his Irish Wolf Hound, were great! He greeted my family and I with a smile and willingness to help in any way, he even came out to us in the rain to give us a weather update and asked if we needed anything. Ron, and his dog Lou were awesome too! They spotted us walking on a trail and gave our daughter snacks and a sticker. he offered his assistance and made our day. Thank you all for a great time! There's no side like the outside!

The lake was close for swimming reason number one reason number two the bathrooms were kind of disgusting and overpriced in the store

Staff was friendly, camp ground was clean and the view was spectacular.

Our stay was amazing, but I'm only giving 4/5 stars because we called ahead to confirm that we could get into the water and were told yes, but when we arrived, we were told they don't allow contact with the water on Tuesdays & Wednesdays (the days we were there) but the camp sites are clean and quiet. Definitely coming back! The staff is helpful and friendly, and the little store has your basic necessities.
