I reserved 2 days, but my space was so perfect I stayed 4 day. Staff was great!

The bathrooms need to be updated, the doors in the men’s bathroom are all dented, the shower in the women’s had hair all over the floor, it was so gross

It was very relaxing, fun for adults as well as kids. Just wish we stayed longer. Only bad thing is our power went out a few times . Nothing bad… maybe if we had more choices of 50 amp next to each other

Great time!! We love camping at Lake Mcswain. The park ranger at the main gate was AWESOME!!! The only issue we came across was the water temperature for the showers at the A loop camping grounds was scolding hot. Overall always a great time.

We had a great time. Our campsite was nice (F8) lots of shade and flat areas for tents. We did not have a bbq pit though and our reservation said we would, so that was frustrating. The bathrooms were a smidge grimy too, but thats not a huge deal when camping besides most doors did not lock properly. We will definitely visit again though and make sure we get a slightly better campsite next time, although ours was perfectly fine besides missing the bbq pit.

Easy check-in, and I was able to get answers to any questions. I enjoyed the spot I reserved.

It was a great time no drama, family fun, kids had a blast at the water park obstacle course for an all day pass, kayaking and paddle boarding was good!

Location and fishing was wonderful, excellent staff

My first time to camp to Lake Mcswain.A-Loop has the best spot close to lake. The ranger ladies are nice in the gate.

Lovely campsite and pristine lake. I would give 5 stars except for the fact that The Reel Deal store by the beach access refused to allow me in with my service dog, in violation of ADA protections. I had to drive into town (30 mins round trip) just to fill up on water and coffee. Very frustrating and humiliating.

Beautiful, but cold lake! Very nice park rangers. Can't wait to try the cabins.

Ease of reservations, ease of checking in upon arrival. Rangers were patrolling regularly making sure all was in order. When power was lost due to the Snelling Fields Rd wildfire a ranger was there almost immediately explaining the situation. Power was restored within the hour.

Clean campsite with clean restrooms and great amenities. Everything was well maintained, and we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We would definitely come back!
