When camping in Pine Knoll you can leave your car at your campsite and start a hike on our 5k trail, walk the shoreline, or explore other amenities nearby. Water is provided close to most spaces. Picnic tables, fire rings, and barbeques are provided each space. The flat areas closest to the lake are ideal for dry camping in your RV or trailer. The upper campsites have sweeping views and can take advantage of the cool evening breezes. Because of its proximity and various site-types many campers choose this campground first. Pine Knoll is by reservation and fills quickly on the busy weekends so first come first serve sites can be extremely limited.

Sandy Point offers 12 sites in total and features two large group sites. Due to its popularity, we recommend reserving in advanced, as sites are limited on a first come first serve basis. Because of its narrow roadway and parking areas, Sandy Point is not recommended for RVs or vehicles pulling boats and trailers and is a tent only campground. Flush toilets and free showers are centrally located in the campground, a short distance from all sites. Sandy Point boasts a large day use area available for registered Sandy Point campers just a short walk away via a trail. If you want the very best camping experience that Nacimiento has to offer, most people agree that is found at Sandy Point.

  This canyon-based campground is the second campground on the right after Entry Gate. Offering 14 tent sites Rocky Canyon contains several group sites as well as smaller single sites. Because it is built on the ridge above the lake, many of the sites have magnificent views and access to the evening breezes. Shade is provided by a mix of pine and oak trees. No Large RVs or large vehicles towing boats or trailers are allowed to enter this campground due to the narrow roads and parking areas. Sites have picnic tables and barbeques, with some offering fire rings. The campground has flush toilets and free showers conveniently located in the center. Potable water is available at every site.   Located right after the entry gate on the left is Quails Roost. This campground provides campers with a choice of 60 tent sites. Most sites provide great shade, flat terrain, and back up on open space. In the center of the campground, near the horseshoe pit, there are convenient flush restrooms and free showers.   Oak Knoll - Full Hook Ups - NO TENTS

  Refundable Security Deposit Included in Avg. Nightly Rate This very peaceful campground is the first campground on your right after our Entry Gate. It features 40 full hook-up sites offering 30 AMP electrical service, water, and sewage. No tents are permitted. Due to the nature of the campground and its vegetation ground fires (wood, charcoal, etc) are not permitted in the OAK KNOLL campground. Fires are limited to propane fire pits ONLY, that are elevated off the ground and contained. The sites include picnic tables, and most have a barbeque. There are flush toilets and free showers conveniently located a short walk from all the sites. Boat trailer parking is available in the campground on a first come first served basis. Overflow parking is provided in the Day Use lot located near the General Store.
