I think the campground is amazing! We love the option of having the original spots available at their original prices. We come 3 times a year for 3-4 weeks at a time. What I do notice is a lot more “rules” and nit picking stuff. When there is only a handful of campers present, why should it matter if a visitor comes and parks at the camper? I get it, when it’s busy but on Tuesday night at 6pm, making a visitor walk with a baby seat and dinner items and lawn chairs is ridiculous. Paying $5 for them to be there 2-3 hours is ridiculous. Not being allowed to hang a clothes line for 2 hours is ridiculous. Not allowing tents behind a camper is ridiculous. I could go on. But seriously when the office workers go home, people drive right into the campground. Campers park and leave without paying before office staff returns. People pitch tents and take em down before office workers return. The gates are closed during the day and you must have a pass to get in with your vehicle but come closing time, gates are wide open. Makes No sense at all. I have a handicap tag and they still wanna know what campsite I’m going to. Does it matter? And after being there for 3 weeks, you’d think they’d know. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not all the workers, but some of them. On a good note. It’s a pretty and quiet park.
