AWESOME PLACE!

This stay we had was wonderful ! The park was clean at all times. The restrooms were immaculate and clean no matter what hour of the day. Very close to other amenities in the city as well. My only complaint would be for big families that travel in multiple cars, there is not ample parking. We had two cars and a pop up (which all vehicles would have fit in our spot, on the concrete and not the grass, as well as not blocking other traffic) and had to expense an extra 200 dollars to park one of our cars at an off site location.

I first off I will say we really like the location of the campground. Close to town to walk, and easy access to the lake. This campground is very clean and maintained daily along with the bathrooms. I do like the fact also that during their busy times, animals are not allowed. Some things I think need a little bit of work. They consider the trailers a registered vehicle so at your campsite if it’s two families camping, somebody is going to have to park their regular car in the park and pay for it to keep it there overnight, or you can park it on the street and check on it to make sure it’s fine. I also feel like their spots for trailers with vehicles are a little small. Some of the sites people had to park their trucks, parallel without tires in the grass, but it also makes it hard for people coming in with their trailers to back them in such a tight spot with trucks parallel, parked next to their campers. I also think if they’re going to cut the grass every day, it would be nice if they would pick up the lawn clippings as the kids play in the grass or come back from the lake and grass is all over them and they track it in to the trailers or the tents. They do not want tents on grass, unless you move them every morning which I understand why they like to keep the grass alive, but their tent pads are made of sand, which then is tracked into the tent. I I think for four nights, five days for $400, Some things just really need to be updated. This campground has lots of rules like bike riding with a headlamp or headlight at dusk or backing in your vehicle and not pulling it straight is some of the things I think are a bit extreme. Quiet time is 10, but they don’t monitor it because people were partying and super loud and karaoke and nothing was ever done way past 10 o’clock. I also think they need to update all of the picnic tables as the one I had at my site was warped wood that was very Old and was splintering off, but my friends picnic table was a metal one and it was really nice. Maybe make some walking paths for people to get to the lake or to bathrooms that are further away for the other campsites because we had people walking through our campsite all day long. Our campsite also was closer to the Parkside with the trash compactor and workers for the park coming and going, but when it became dark, the workers headlight shined right into where the tent was set up. Maybe put up the slats for chain-link fence to help block the headlights. They do say they have Wi-Fi which they do give you a guest password to, but there are so many people in the campground that Wi-Fi was unavailable and we used our own data anyways maybe upgrade the Wi-Fi system.

You don’t fix the water problem in section E You don’t make everyone follow the rules You don’t mow the grass enough You let the Russian or Ukrainian people have more people on their spots and they just take over the camp ground. Your sprinklers water on the pads Your pads are in such uneven conditions You don’t have night time security anymore I’ve been coming here for over 40 years and the city just keeps spending the money on other city projects and that’s what the park staff is telling me And your WiFi is terrible You got rid of the cable tv which because you didn’t want to pay for it but don’t have a problem raising your rates

The weather was nice the place is organized and clean the beach was amazing but there is one thing pissed me of while we are sitting on the table was surprised that our spot is in the middle of grass rotating sprinkler made everything wet the chairs the clothes ourself amd even the tent this location is very bad for the sprinklers we keep spreading the clothes in the morning to let it dry

Clean, well maintained campground. Sites were a bit close to one another and there was no enforcement of quiet hours so there was a lot of noise and activity well after 10 PM.

We love the location and have stayed here many times over the years. The rules, lack of flexibility and increase of rates have dampen our desire to stay here again. After paying for our rv space and boat moorage for 5 days they didn't have a place to put my boat trailer without paying another $30 a day parking fee. Really! Park was less than half full in June. You are losing customers Cit of Chelan.

The staff were incredibly rude. The rules they would come up with are insane, you can’t have anything touch the grass, you have to back into your space, you can’t have a camp fire, you can’t have your tent on the grass. It’s absolutely ridiculous. We had to move our tent to the asphalt because even though we said in the reservation that we had TWO tents they never once disclosed that there would only be space for one tent with one tent pad or that we might get drenched with water. The second night the sprinklers went off and completely soaked our tent, water got inside and ruined some of our belongings, we had standing water inside our tent when we woke up the next morning. They make you pay to even use the showers and that’s after asking for hotel pricing for a small camp site. We ended up leaving early because we were so fed up with all our belongings getting drenched each night. When I called to notify them of our situation I was met with so much attitude, rudeness and unprofessionalism. The lady I spoke with told us that we ran the risk of getting soaked by sprinklers EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE FINE PRINT STATING THAT WOULD HAPPEN. The asphalt tore a hole in the bottom of our expensive tent which we now have to find a way to repair or replace the entire thing. The woman was so rude and not compassionate to our situation at all. For a place that charges as much as they do you would think there customer service would be top tier but it’s very clear that they have no idea how to treat paying customers. I will never be back to that site again and will encourage our friends to avoid this place at all costs. You can’t even get to the restrooms at night without having to doge the sprinkler system, all the walkways were wet as well so you had to go completely out of your way to avoid getting soaked. I guess you can say the only good thing is the proximity to the lake but even then it wasn’t worth my time or money. In addition to this they were trying to refuse my friend access to the camp site because we weren’t there yet even though she had all the information including the confirmation email. They made her wait to the side with a baby and a dog for no other reason than they felt like it. I wish I knew the ‘managers’ name because she was truly awful, rude and unprofessional.

Very nice park. Sites are large.
