I first off I will say we really like the location of the campground. Close to town to walk, and easy access to the lake. This campground is very clean and maintained daily along with the bathrooms. I do like the fact also that during their busy times, animals are not allowed. Some things I think need a little bit of work. They consider the trailers a registered vehicle so at your campsite if it’s two families camping, somebody is going to have to park their regular car in the park and pay for it to keep it there overnight, or you can park it on the street and check on it to make sure it’s fine. I also feel like their spots for trailers with vehicles are a little small. Some of the sites people had to park their trucks, parallel without tires in the grass, but it also makes it hard for people coming in with their trailers to back them in such a tight spot with trucks parallel, parked next to their campers. I also think if they’re going to cut the grass every day, it would be nice if they would pick up the lawn clippings as the kids play in the grass or come back from the lake and grass is all over them and they track it in to the trailers or the tents. They do not want tents on grass, unless you move them every morning which I understand why they like to keep the grass alive, but their tent pads are made of sand, which then is tracked into the tent. I I think for four nights, five days for $400, Some things just really need to be updated. This campground has lots of rules like bike riding with a headlamp or headlight at dusk or backing in your vehicle and not pulling it straight is some of the things I think are a bit extreme. Quiet time is 10, but they don’t monitor it because people were partying and super loud and karaoke and nothing was ever done way past 10 o’clock. I also think they need to update all of the picnic tables as the one I had at my site was warped wood that was very Old and was splintering off, but my friends picnic table was a metal one and it was really nice. Maybe make some walking paths for people to get to the lake or to bathrooms that are further away for the other campsites because we had people walking through our campsite all day long. Our campsite also was closer to the Parkside with the trash compactor and workers for the park coming and going, but when it became dark, the workers headlight shined right into where the tent was set up. Maybe put up the slats for chain-link fence to help block the headlights. They do say they have Wi-Fi which they do give you a guest password to, but there are so many people in the campground that Wi-Fi was unavailable and we used our own data anyways maybe upgrade the Wi-Fi system.

You don’t fix the water problem in section E You don’t make everyone follow the rules You don’t mow the grass enough You let the Russian or Ukrainian people have more people on their spots and they just take over the camp ground. Your sprinklers water on the pads Your pads are in such uneven conditions You don’t have night time security anymore I’ve been coming here for over 40 years and the city just keeps spending the money on other city projects and that’s what the park staff is telling me And your WiFi is terrible You got rid of the cable tv which because you didn’t want to pay for it but don’t have a problem raising your rates
