Lakeside Timbers RV Campground — Reviews

Time on reservation receipt says office is open till 7pm. Got there at 6:20. Office closed. No info or directions. We were left to figure everything out in dark by ourselves. Water spigot was locked but we fortunately had water in our tank. Not a bad place for price.

Very clean! Friendly and courteous reception when checking in. Up graded to pull through when they realized we were traveling through and just staying 1 night. Great wi-fi, was able to stream our favorite programs.

Loved the campground!!! Clean and new, I did not go to Bingo but it sounded like everyone was having great fun. Store is nice, bought a few necessities, alcohol selection was fantastic. Very close to the lake, I kayaked almost every day. Do you think you would ever consider putting on a pool. That would be icing on the cake!!

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The campground was quiet, clean, and well taken care of. We could not have asked for a better stay.

Arrived at 5:15pm office was closed. Email we received stated they were open until 7pm. There was no late check in paperwork. Drove around to find our site. Called after hours number to get wifi password and received no return call. Campspot does not list pull through sites but they do have them. Site 263 was definitely not waterview. and 50 feet long is really pushing it. Otherwise Beautiful campground just needed some follow through for a better guest experience.

Clean facilities, level waterside spot! Very accommodating campground with a store.

This is a nice campground. Sites are level, no trees to damage your camper and the owners are nice. It’s not right off the highway but it’s still very close. We would stay again!

This is a very new campground located just outside of the farming community of Neoga, Il. As such while most sites are nicely sized there is no shade on the interior sites as yet. The staff was outstanding and even drove several miles to meet us and escort us to the park after our GPS led us astray. The campground was very clean and is located next to a large lake with public boat launching facilities. We would stay there again.

Amazing place to stay. Great store!! The showers and restrooms were ssooo clean and brand new!!! We brought our golf cart and they allowed us to park our trailer in a grass area. 10/10 all round!

Great spot. Brand new. Nice lake right next to it. Don't be in a rush getting to it though - narrow farm roads. Stayed on our way up and decided to stay again on way back.

This campground was amazing. We were sad that we only had one night to spend there as we were traveling through. We will definitely be back!!

Everybody’s friendly ,campground was quiet and clean.Need easier access for kids to fish.

Nice, clean campground. Sites are large and offer plenty of room and privacy.

Great new campground. Friendly check-in. Camp store well stocked. They offer laundry, & and bar on site; however, we did not use. Easy good roads to get there.
