Lazy Fish at Pelican Point — Reviews

The campground was beautiful, but there was literally no one to connect with at the campground. The docks were not in the water, so we weren’t sure it was safe to swim (cows were visible in the water across the lake). Since no one was ever at the office, we couldn’t purchase firewood and didn’t know if fires were banned. The internet also did not work. Still, a beautiful site. I am guessing they were just very short staffed.

drive through spots are not level. Wifi did not work as advertised. Help was not helpful in password when asked.

Nice area lots of trees and a good restaurant to eat. Lots of activities for water stuff. There’s fishing, volleyball court. They have bouncy houses on certain weekends if you have kids. There a park by the water.

It was a clean campground, we had entertainment, drinks, boat loading was close by, lots of areas to walk, great food ( I sampled quite a bit and it was all good, especially the egg roll pickles).

Very nice camp ground- close to Jamestown -very good eating area they had entertainment a few nights, bounce houses for kids a few days. Theres a very nice volley ball court. Bathroom were always cleaned.

The weather was cold for camping after the storm came through but we were still able to have a lot of fun with our friends. The food at The Lazy Fish was very good. Will eat there again.

Last minute stay. Booked online, spot was too small for our RV so I messaged office and told them we were switching spots and they were accommodating since they were not full. Really didn’t consider it a full hook up site because of what they called a sewer hook up. Dumpsters were over filled and garbage on the ground. Campsite is north of interstate aways so it was quiet.

The resort and camping spots were great! The staff at the bar/restaurant were top notch and we loved the bouncy houses for the kids on Saturday! The only thing that was not super great was- there is A LOT of traffic with golf carts and UTV's, especially at dusk - most of the drivers were children that do not obey the 5 MPH speed limit and just drove up and down the road. That was hard for us because we have small children and their grandparents were parked across the road. But we know it is hard for the resort to monitor that, just wanted to bring it up!

Very nice campsite, clean, mowed and lots of friendly people.

Great spot - #34. AND it wasn’t 103 degrees like last year. Ha!

Pretty Decent Campground. Sewer Lines were pretty full, but it has been super wet. It is nice to have all of the amenities. Some gravel sites cold uses some leveling. Only bad thing I have to say is the excessive use and speeds of golf carts and side x sides. I like to use mine too, but far too many young kids ripping around, hanging on the back, and driving at night without headlights on.

We were with a big group of friends and it was fun

Sites were beautiful, Lake was inviting, weather was great and i know it can’t control that…. We enjoyed the restaurant and bought shirts and hats (great quality). We’ll be back for sure!!!

It has everything I was looking for in a campground. We enjoyed lots of walking the area, good food at the bar/restaurant.

It was great. Tent area was underwater but we found a space a still had a great night.
