Lazy Fish at Pelican Point — Reviews

This campground is small which is perfect for people with families! There isn’t the constant in and out of traffic so your kids can play without worry. The campsites are clean and spacious. I had friends in the cabins and they were amazing! Bunk beds and close to the bathrooms and showers. The bar and stage area was so nice and had entertainment every night!

We had a nice roomy and level campsite. Amenities were terrific. Great view of the lake.

Darin is a super host. The cabins are comfy and clean, the restaurant is wonderful and the grounds are meticulously maintained. We throughly enjoyed our stay and were able to invite family and friends to join us for meals at the Lazy Fish and they loved it!

Large Rv sites. Restaurant and bar on site. Nice Rv park.

Restaurant and newer cabins were great!

The whole atmosphere is family friendly, live music on weekends and a nice little restaurant with great choices and a beer to wash it down. The James River surrounding the campground for fishing or just a relaxing pontoon ride. I highly recommend checking it out, you won’t be disappointed!!

Good location by the water

Great stay very nice place.

I read a lot of the reviews and well I did have some concerns about going there, but I believe all the negative reviews were people that don't know north Dakota, I had a great experience, My four year old daughter enjoyed it also, very nice people and well maintained.

When we got there, the site was very unlevel, but Tom came out and leveled it as best as he could Internet and phone service were nonexistent bathroom facilities were on the other side of the park other than that entertainment food and the view was very good. We did enjoy our stay would definitely recommend it.

Very nice campground. Site was gravel but flat. sites were good size. On a lake and lots of sites had great views of the lake. Also many of the sites had large trees shading them. Place was neat and clean. We’d definitely stay again.

Beautiful campground however, the sites are not level even with all our blocks we couldn't after walking around it seemed most all had quite the slope. The "wifi" is obsolete unless you pay daily for it, we full time so it's needed for work. Att nor Verizon is good here. Our phones stayed on emergent most of our stay. It is a very safe place and again beautiful esp if you're going to completely unplug.
