Lighthouse Beach RV Park — Reviews

In the past, city employees and police have patroled the park frequently to ensure everyone was having a good time in a safe manner. This past weekend there were several large parties that did not respect the reserved campsites by setting up their grills and activites next to RVs, left piles of trash eveywhere, and blared their music late into the night. Thought about leaving on serveral occasions as we were tired of people walking through our campsite repeatedly all day and night.

I stayed from 09-11 June 2024. When I made the reservation I couldn't pick any spots. It was given at random a day before going. While there only myself and 1 other camper was at the sites. Nobody was there to check in so I don't know if personnel are only there during high reservation days or they don't have any at all and it's just by the honor system. Beach was fair but not so clean. Observed sanitary napkin floating on shore. Yay me.

No hassles checking in or out. Location was great. Plenty of amenities for kids. Good spot.

Everything was great. Only issue was that with it being a long holiday weekend the landscape should of been taken care of before hand. Grass was pretty tall and it gave mosquitos and bugs a place to hide. Besides that no issues

Everything was perfect.. We have camp between thirty five and forty times Over the last eighteen years. Enjoyed everyone That we met and those That worked there, especially young lady that helped us This time.. Only sorry to say that because of our age, This was Are last time. We will Miss wonderful port lavaca.

No attendant at entrance.. Gates were open all night with heavy traffic coming in til 3:00 am.. Felt very unsafe. Beautiful park I’d maintained.
