Not especially comfortable with the idea that there was no one on site to monitor or maintain the safety of campers. No one was available to make sure campers were setup in the correct spot. When we arrived, there was someone parked in our spot. Our only option to correct this was to call the police department since it was after 5p.m. and the city office was closed. All weekend there were people walking through our campsite to get to the PUBLIC beach. There was really no privacy. Not exactly what I think of when I want to camp. Also, it rained and totally flooded our campsite and the sites on either side of us as well. If we wanted to sit at our picnic table we had to sit in ankle deep water for hours. Definitely recommend visiting in person before booking if possible.

3 Playgrounds - 1 Splash Pad - A lighted fishing pier - 1 Boardwalk - recycled material, that's the best walking experience of them all!!! This park has even more to offer than those things. This is a must-see / must-visit place. For the day or for a week - even better - you've got to come see why this place rates 5 stars!

Was not impressed with pulling in to set up camper and having to wait until a car finally left that was just at the beach and then having someone pull their car next to our campsite at 11pm sat there for a while then finally left. Did not feel comfortable leaving belongings outside over night with zero security. At one point while we were at the pier, we noticed a vehicle just parked directly in front of our camper. Being close to beach, playground and splash pad for the family was nice but the lack of security kept us a bit on edge.
