This place is reasonably price, I'm pretty sure you can see and hear the ocean from every site. It has easy beach access ( bring a bag and pick up trash on the beachand time you are at a beach!!!) , sites are tidy and functional. Hosts were very friendly, making check in fast and easy. We have stay here a few times, but we haven't used the laundry, bathroom or showers. It's close to restaurants and stores, also the visitors center and park. Why I didn't give it 5 stars, I really hate spending my time or money in California but more to the point, even though this place is easy to get into and park, there are so many people from the houseless community that are all around this park. When you pull in, the first thing you see is a parking lot usually full of dilapidated vehicles, then homeless people will camp along the beach, last time we took the path to the visitor station people were shooting up right in the open the police came, so for me, I don't know if our stuff will be safe if we leave. Seem to be getting more intense

Beautiful location, on the beach, easy to get to. The only thing I would say is that the showers need replaced.

The campground was perfect and a fantastic location. My family spent a lot of time on the beach and enjoying the views. What an amazing 3 days. We will definitively be back in the spring when we drive back north. This will be a stop on trip north and south each year. Great restaurants nearby and everything you need as an Rver is nearby. Great seafood nearby and amazing views.
