Relaxing and quiet campground. We really enjoyed our stay at Lizard Creek Campground. The staff is pleasantly nice and helpful. We enjoyed the ice cream parlor, awesome seasonal flavors. Our camp site location was perfect, we picked site 1 which we found to be level and easily accessible when backing in. You can really tell the owners take pride in their sites and grounds as everything is neat and well taken care of. The playground was nice, our daughter enjoyed it. The rec hall was neat and clean. We didn’t use the bath houses so I can’t offer any insight on those. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and they had fun activities on Friday and Saturday as well. We will be booking again in the future.

We had a great stay at Lizard Creek. Everyone was so nice from the staff to other campers. The campground was very well maintained and very peaceful. Looking forward to our next stay!

We had a good overall experience at this campground. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The pool was clean and well maintained, the game room was enjoyable, and the location was convenient. There are a few areas that could be improved. The service buildings were clean but quite old. The shower handles need maintenance, and the water pressure was weak. The camping sites were smaller than we expected. We were also disappointed with the river. It is very shallow with many rocks on the surface, making fishing almost impossible, even though the campground advertises it as a good fishing spot. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the friendly staff, but some improvements would make the campground even better. This matches a 4-star rating well because it highlights both the strengths and the areas that need improvement.

We had a great time. Campground and bathroom was very clean. Great activies for the kids and they loved the ice cream shop. We also enjoyed playing in the creek.

Staff is very friendly. They even waited for me after I was late to check in. Grounds were clean and well maintained. The camping site offered privacy, while still connected to the main walkways. Very family friendly

The campground is well maintained with kind and courteous staff. The activities they plan are fun for all ages. The playground and recreation room are well cared for with plenty to do. We will certainly be back.

We spent Memorial Day weekend at Lizard Creek Campground and had such a wonderful time — even with the rainy weather! Honestly, the rain didn’t stop the fun at all. It turned into one of those cozy camping weekends filled with laughter, relaxing under the canopy, listening to the rain on the camper/tent, enjoying campfires whenever the weather cleared, and just slowing down together as a family. The campground itself was beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and you could really tell they work hard to make sure everyone has a great experience. Even when the weather wasn’t perfect, there was still plenty to enjoy and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Sometimes the best camping memories aren’t the picture-perfect sunny days — they’re the weekends where everyone makes the best of things, enjoys nature, and simply enjoys being together. We left early with full hearts, happy memories, and already talking about coming back again. Thank you, Lizard Creek Campground, for a memorable Memorial Day weekend

Our family loved this campground! It was our first trip as a family and it was just perfect. The sites were very spacious, the bathrooms were really clean, and the landscaping was well maintained. The creek was really nice a lot of people were fishing, my son loved playing in it! The playground was very nice too. For Easter weekend they had a cute egg hunt, crafts, and the bunny was there for pics. We will definitely be returning!

Very clean campground. Nice place to stay. However, it was towards the end of the year and they were shut down for multiple days. Had an issue, but I could not reach anybody to resolve it.

Very friendly and accommodating staff! 3rd time here and will be back.
