Nicely run Campground. Quiet. Level partially shaded sites.

We enjoyed the stay and everyone we met was very nice.

Very clean and staff were polite and helpful. Lost my wallet and they found it for me gave me a call immediately and it was a great place for the kids !

Lizard Creek Campground was a beautiful campground. This was our first stay here but our 4th trip to the Lehighton area. We love this area not only for the quaint town but its close proximity to also the town of Jim Thorpe. The campground staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a deluxe Creekside spot. The Creek had a nice current and there were many campers who were fishing and exploring. The pool was very large and never over crowded. I love that the spots are spacious and the deluxe has not only a picnic table and afire ring but a wood deck with another round table with 4 chairs. Plenty of outdoor seating. This is one campground we will visit at least once or twice a year!

We paid up for a premium spot of the creek. The sights were much larger there. Since it was during the week, the campgroundxwas very quiet. The creek was beautiful as part of the site. There are many close set seasonal sites, so I would recommend the extra $$ for creekside. It was nice having a faucet on site, too. Not: the office is not open on certain days, nor is check in. We were escorted to our site,and even got help centering the trailer. Firewood can be pre-ordered and delivered. Very clean bath house, too.

Easy in and out, two night stay!

It’s a nice campground and the staff is great. We had a creekside site (#63) and it was perfect! My challenge with this place is it’s a little nickel and dime. Early check in $20, have to buy their firewood you can’t bring your own $20 for the weekend bundle and it was a bunch of small splintered wood, 2 free internet passes you can only use on one device each, additional access code is $5 a day. Parking only one car per site $5 a day to park in their lot if you have another car. They do offer cable which is nice but bandwidth doesn’t allow for any streaming and was told won’t work if you use the access code on the TV because signal isn’t strong enough to stream No cafe but has an ice cream window. Only activity was a one hour kid craft on Saturday so they could have adult swim time. Stream fishing seemed to be good, we didn’t fish but people said they caught fish. Dog friendly but no park for them to run off leash. It’s a grass area to walk your dog. Positive very quiet and very peaceful.
