Our family loves Loyston. It has a great family friendly atmosphere and the views of the lake are amazing.

The camp hosts were super nice and helpful. Always a clean campground and bathhouse. We wish they would get underground water hookups and do more leveling on the sites, but this is still our favorite place to camp regardless!

The campground was very nice, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only bad thing was, the weather was horrible (which, of course, the campground has no control over)! Bad storm with high winds the first night, but it calmed down and was a peaceful night...my sleeping bag got a bit wet, but I was still able to sleep good, as did my friend. The next day started out nice, but once the rain started, it rained for hours and hours! It finally stopped around 11pm, but my sleeping bag got drenched. My friend's gear stayed a bit drier because we were on a slight incline, and he was on the higher side, and there was a little corner where a little water pooled up. I tried sleeping, but I was absolutely freezing all night. My sleeping bag is usually nice and warm. So overall, we liked the campground and location a lot, we just picked a bad weekend, because of the weather! My favorite part of the weekend was after it stopped raining the 2nd night, these owls started hooting, and communicating with each other all across the lake from every direction! We plan on returning some time, and hopefully, the weather will be better!

We had a relaxing 3 day weekend at Loyston Point. 2nd time staying there. Campgrounds are neat and well manicured, Staff extremely friendly, clean restrooms. Beautiful lake view.
