Loyston Point Campground — Reviews

I camp exclusively at Loyston Point Campground. Very nice campground on Norris Lake. Half the sites have water views. The bathrooms and showers are cleaned several times a day. Quiet times starts at 10pm and all you can hear are the crickets. A majority of sites have electrical and water hookups. The only negative would be the firewood they sell. Currently $7 @ bundle and it takes about 3 bundles for a good fire. However the wood is too green to burn. It only smokers. May be okay to mix into an established fire. Suggest bringing your own.

Great location! Beautiful views. Clean bathrooms. Site not level so be prepared to use blocks and a higher step up into the camper is likely.

Loyston Point never disappoints! This campground is so well maintained and the bathhouses are ALWAYS clean and fresh. which is ALWAYS a must! We saw the host Bud and Kelly frequently checking on the facilities and guest to make sure everything was great for their stay…including us!! The Festivities this weekend was so much fun! When your here your family! Thanks for all you do! We will see you in March!!

We had a gray view of the lake and moon rise at sight 52. The staff were super friendly.

Always a Wonderful and Enjoyable time there… cooler than we expected but it is Fall. We just Love all the Staff personnel and how Friendly and Courteous they are. Immaculately clean facilities and camp spots.

Great, clean campground. Restrooms with showers extremely clean. Entire area we'll maintained. Every spot has a view of lake. Highly recommend this place.

We love this place! It’s easy for us to travel too. Even if it rains, we love the beauty and peacefulness. The managers, Kelly and Bud are always available and more than willing to answer any questions. We stayed during the Super Moon and the view was fantastic.
