Lundeen's Rock River Landing — Reviews

We only stayed overnight, needed a pull thru, but beautiful view by the lake, clean and well kept landscape, rustic look to the camp, had chickens and Geese, seem to have watersports available on the lake, dump station easy to get to even while towing a toad

Lovely view of the Rock River, and the owners were very accommodating. Sites could be a hair larger, but that’s a minor comment and not unusual for a private campground. Our only complaint revolved around the fact that it was Fourth of July weekend. We weren’t sure which was worse: the off key karaoke or the firecrackers. From our poor dog’s point of view it was the fireworks. Except for that one evening, all was peaceful and pleasant.

Was not worth what you pay for it. I chose a campsite that had electric, water and sewer and when I got there I ended up with two of the three and paid for all three and then they charged me to come down and empty my sewer. Plus all the other facilities were dirty and we were told by the guy who came to empty our our blackwater that the better facilities were on the other side of the road in the year-round sites. So I paid $60 for a site that really sucked wasn't happy The people that work there were nice but they are extremely way overpriced for what you get. I won't be going back

We stayed at Lundeens Landing and really enjoyed our spot. We had a pull-thru site at the end of the campground, which gave us extra space and a little more privacy. The view of the river from our site was beautiful and definitely a highlight. On the downside, the showers and bathrooms are quite a walk from our site and could use some updating.

this was our second time to camp at lundeens landing- and my oh my - did we have a great time-- the float down the rock river was stellar-- the trip around lake george - steller- the trip across the andulsia slough was beyond stellar-- being able to come home after a sweaty hot day of paddling around in our kayak was beyond luxury -- fishing from our camping spot - so much fun-- we will be back --

This park is continuing to update their facilities. We didn’t use the restroom/showers but our site had a nice level pad and hookups all worked. Check in was smooth and everyone was friendly. Would stay again.

For starters, the “swim beach” is a tiny lick of land, filled with rocks, leading to the dirtiest water we have been to. Don’t expect quiet…the road runs right along the campground as well as train tracks. Instead of a quiet evening we were bombarded by lights from the passing cars, the sound of cars speeding past and loud, long train horns blasting. The only good thing I will say is that the bathrooms were clean.

Great all around - great location (river front), helpful staff, good sites, lots of amenities (family friendly).

The bathrooms could use a little updating and there is a smell to the water almost looks like the pipes are just too old

Oh right by the river...water hookups at site...they had a lil truck that came by and emptied grey and black tanks for free on Monday....beautiful time...had a blast on the rock river...and on zuma creek....I cannot wait till we can go back....will tell my friends to go
