Great views very nice campground

Overall really enjoyed our stay!! The cottages are beautiful and really convenient for a single family!

RV sites are not River front view and you need to hike a good ways to see the river. They don’t allow firewood brought in from outside the camping grounds…. so when we got there I asked where I buy firewood and they replied…..”we don’t sell firewood yet, so you will need to go to Walmart or another store to purchase firewood.” That was another issue. Some of the sites retain standing water. There limited supply of items in the camp store were double the price of buying else where. Dog park did not have bags at the station for dog poop. I had to clean up others peoples dog poop at the dog park since we brought bags but others didn’t, and they just left the dog poop. Probably because they felt the park should have had bags. I am not trying to be picky but the place was expensive and if they were not ready to open due to staff, training, and lack of erosion control established…… then they should have waited until next season. Also false advertisement of River front access with the RV camping is disappointing. Other than that, the place is beautiful.

Not at all pleased that you slipped in a resort fee during my reservation and the whole time I was staying I was dusted and woke up early in the morning by construction equipment. Not at all what a "resort" should be

The overall experience was positive. The property was well maintained and staffed. It was a good central location for a Shenandoah adventure. The bath house definitely left something to be desired. It was the least comfortable bath house I have experienced at a developed campground. Hopefully that will be addressed during the ongoing renovation.

We discussed this at length with the (VERY nice & understanding) people who worked at the office. Apparently, MANY complaints had come in about this: WHOEVER (and we understand this happened at the corporate level) made the decision to allow the small army of tree-cutters to work in close proximity to our campsites (and many others) removing trees with large, heavy, noisy equipment starting at just after 7 AM AND CONTINUING ALL DAY LONG UNTIL SUNDOWN was profoundly inconsiderate, thoughtless, and ultimately greedy. To top it off, not ten yards from our campsite was designated the actual thoroughfare across which thundered the numerous, beeping caterpillars, going right across the grass and stinking the place up with their vile diesel fumes. We and the others paid good money to camp in the beautiful Shenandoah region, expecting to enjoy a few days of peace and quiet. To have to endure the din coming from that gang of tree-cutters FOR HOURS AND DAYS ON END is an outrage. HAD WE KNOWN about this ridiculous, heartless intrusion ahead of time we would have found another campground to stay at - and there ARE many choices around there. We considered packing up and leaving early, and some of the campers I think actually did. Too bad - it's a really nice location - but my wife and I will never use this particular facility again.

The cabins and location are great and nicely updated. The bathroom sink only trickled a very small amount of water rendering it useless. Other than that it was a great stay.

The campsite was lovely. We had to leave early due to Hurricane Ian and the staff were accommodating. We will def. be back

We had a great, relaxing time. Bathrooms were clean. Receptionists were pleasant.

the sulfer smell of the water in the cabins is unacceptable. i realize the cabins are new but you shouldn't be renting them until the problem is fixed.

The cottage we stayed in was absolutely amazing! It was very clean and relaxing. We absolutely love this campground and will be going back VERY soon!

Sites were very spacious and the campground was clean and well maintained. The grounds were beautiful and there were several trails to explore. The lazy river was a huge plus!

Perfect camp ground

The listing is super misleading. I specifically checked that I would have wifi in my cabin and when we get there there’s none. They don’t even say anything except sorry: uh okay? False advertisement? Also advertised as having a fire pit. Didn’t have that either. Most of our dinners were supposed to be cooked over a camp fire so that was a huge disappointment as well

Great service

The resort was on the Shenandoah river and provided extraordinary recreation. We are seniors without children and had a spectacular time! Everything was clean and well managed. Simply spectacular!
