This campground was so well maintained and offered so many different activities. The views of the mountains were beautiful. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. The RV site was great. We definitely will be coming back.

The campground was very clean, the facilities were great and the customer support was fantastic. We are already planning our next visit and have mdae this one of our top destinations for next year.

Very clean, easy check in and a beautiful spot to camp in Virginia!!!!! We were off season so didn’t use much of the facilities. Would come back again!!! We were spot 616. Cement patio, large spot with the river right behind us with trails to walk.

The sites are small for a 30 foot travel trailer. Also we came in at 6 pm and store was closed already. Website says 7 pm.

Facilities were clean and all needs were met. There are options for eating within 20 minutes (most being within 5 minutes) and the campground was very well maintained.

Overall the campground was excellent. Pool area and bathrooms are very well kept and clean. Golf carts apparently do not have to follow the one way signs or speed limit. The dumpster location is not located in a place that is easy to access when you are leaving.

We had a wonderful stay at Luray RV Resort on the Shenandoah River and can't wait until our next trip. Easy to get to, great check-in process, staff was so friendly and helpful, fellow campers were super friendly, great amenities to include golf cart rentals and the ability to float the Shenandoah River, oh and the sites are all fantastic. Normally when we go to a place, we identify a few sites that we try to reserve the next time we go to a place, but after touring around this campground, we determined that there really isn't a bad site anywhere! All in all we had a wonderful trip!

We were spoiled. We stayed Sunday through Saturday. I’m guessing most kids were back in school because it was EMPTY Sunday through Thursday and started filling in. Pool was amazing! River rafting was amazing! RC track was a challenge for my kid but fun. Playground and pickleball/basketball courts were amazing. Due to staffing shortages the bathhouse wasn’t cleaned Monday-Friday and got gross. Toilet was clogged for the 5 days. Water slides were only open on weekends (staffing). Which wasn’t a big deal but wasn’t not advertised prior to our arrival. Campground turned into redneck playground Friday night. Typical golf cart parade blasting hickrap that nobody wants to hear. Pretty rodwy Friday night. I don’t think we would have enjoyed the campground if it wasn’t so empty at the start of our stay but it is an RV resort not a state park so that is to be expected.
