Bathrooms were great, the site, while everything works has minimal amenities for the price charged which is high compared to other campgrounds.

Easy access. Was clean and well spaced out between campers. Convenient to many surrounding points of interest without all the congestion.

Based on pictures, I expected more grass and trees. Those planted for inner sites were young so offered no shade. The dog areas were full of poop and not clean as instructed by terms and conditions. There were no waste bags available. We wanted a dog owner not pick up after his dog. Also, there were several dogs off leashes - again as a rule indicated in the T&C. The street lights are so bright at night, we could not enjoy the fire. The light shined into camper even with blinds drawn. The property rules also stated there is to be nothing stored under campers. One lot had 12 propane tanks outlining their hitch. Other lots had similar unattractive junk surrounding campers. The gravel was new and clean. The honor system for fire wood was nice. The bathroom building is well kept on the exterior. This park is just off a busy road. You will hear every horn and siren. Fuller sewer hookup and electricity worked perfectly. The site description on Campspot is not representative of the actual space. If your looking for quiet, relaxing, grass and shade, this is not the place to stay.

Campground was small, new, and in great condition. Roads in town don't have any sidewalks.

Great spacious bath house. Only stayed 2 nights on a weekend on the way south. Quiet and comfy. Could not find dumpster Finally found it on Website site map. It is not in park, but in business right before entrance to the park. Basic park only frill is dog park and good bath house.

Quick in, quick out. It was a in transit day. Clean. Quiet. Easy peasey. A little expensive but it was a Holiday weekend. Class A hauling a motorcycle trailer. We will do it again.

We had a good stay and had no issues.

Campground was clean. Campsites were level making it easier for set up. Had dog park available. Showers and washer and dryer if needed full hook ups overall quiet for the biggest part of the day and night reasonably priced. didn’t have playgrounds or a pool but those are not things that we require whenever we are camping. Had grocery store, i.e. Ingles directly across the street near good choices as far as restaurants in Ettawah or Hendersonville. Would definitely camp here again.

The rain and wind took the power out so I had to use my generator the last day and a half. It was not the RV park's fault but was not as good as it could have been. Otherwise the I was happy with the water and sewer.

We only spent the 1 night.

Maddox Meadows Campground in Etowah, North Carolina is a fairly new campground and hasn’t but recently had a soft opening. At this point, their bathhouse is not completed and there is no major playground for children or a swimming pool. However, it is located a block off the main road through town and about 15 minutes from Brevard. If one looks on the map And is planning to stay in this area this campground is the perfect place to come and park your RV and use it as a base operations to get around. If you’ve come to socialize, there are other areas that give you a more well established campground. But again, this is a great campground for a utility camping. There are a handful of long-term sites that are occupied and there are roughly 35 sites . There is full hook up and without question this RV Park has the best water pressure I’ve ever experienced. Do you plan on bringing. This part of North Carolina classifies as a temperate rainforest. It is possible for them to get between 90 and 120 inches of rain in a year . It absolutely makes your tricks through the woods heading to the numerous waterfalls that are located in the area absolutely gorgeous with plants, but if you don’t bring rainier, you will get wet. There’s an Ingles grocery store right across the street which makes getting groceries or little items that you might need Very easy. There are two within roughly 10 miles drive. We did see a very cool critter which is found up in this area. These are white squirrels. They are not albino as their eyes are black. The story around them is pretty interesting, but I’ll leave that for your discovery when you get here. Make sure you bring your camera. There are many things to take pictures Again, if you’re looking to bring several people sit outside under big shade trees and have a relaxing time RVing like that this is not your place. If you’ve come to explore and look at the cool areas around you, then you found a great spot. Enjoy.
