Please note, we no longer accept cash or checks for rent payments, but do accept e-checks, credit or debit cards. To avoid the debit/credit card processing fees, please use e-check. We ask that each guest keeps a payment method on their Campspot account. 

General Rules & Policies – Glowfly RV Resorts Reservations & Check-In

  1. Check-In: 1:00 PM | Check-Out: 11:00 AM

  2. All guests must check in at the office upon arrival.

  3. Site assignments are subject to change based on availability.

Site & Park Rules

  1. Maximum of one RV and one vehicle per site unless otherwise approved.

  2. Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM – Please respect your neighbors.

  3. Speed limit: 5-10 MPH throughout the park.

  4. Campfires are allowed only in designated fire rings and must be attended at all times.

  5. Sites must be kept clean and free of trash. Dispose of all garbage in designated areas. No loose garbage in dumpsters, including dog waste bags. 

  6. If you install fencing or decorations for pets or children, you are responsible for maintaining your grass and surrounding area. 

  7. Parks are not responsible for damages caused to RVs from natural disasters or acts of nature. Guests must carry their own insurance and may be asked to supply a copy of their insurance for verification. 

  8. No parking on grass unless instructed by park hosts to do so.

Guests & Visitors

  1. All visitors must register at the office and park in designated areas.

  2. Maximum occupancy per site: 6 people

  3. Children under 12 must be supervised at all times.

Pet Policy

  1. A $20 Pet Fee will be automatically included on all reservations where guests are bringing pets. For stays of one month or more a $5 fee will then be charged monthly. Additional fees added at discretion of the park manager.

  2. Pet-friendly park – but all pets must be on a leash and cleaned up after.

  3. No aggressive breeds allowed. Management reserves the right to enforce pet restrictions.

  4. Excessive barking or disruptive pet behavior is not permitted.

  5. A designated trash can near the dog park is provided for pet waste.

  6. A current rabies certificate must be presented at check-in.

  7. Guests are responsible for any damage, injury, or disturbance caused by their pets.

  8. If a pet is deemed uncontrolled, disruptive, aggressive, or poses a risk to other guests, staff, or property, management may assess a fine starting at $25 per incident. Depending on the severity of the violation, management reserves the right to require the immediate removal of the pet from the property or terminate the guest's stay without refund.

Amenities & Facilities

  1. Restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are for registered guests only.

  2. Pool and recreational areas have separate posted rules—please follow them.

  3. Do not wash RVs or vehicles on-site unless approved by management. There is a $20.00 fee for water usage to wash.

  4. Do not leave personal items unattended — they may be discarded.

  5. No laundering heavily soiled or greasy material in washing machines or dryers.  

Pool Area (if applicable)

  1. Swim at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty.

  2. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult.

  3. No diving, horseplay, or running in the pool area.

  4. No glass containers allowed.

  5. No cutoff shorts in the pool.

Long-Term Stays (One Month or More)

  1. Long-term guests must maintain their RV in good condition and comply with all park rules.

  2. Management reserves the right to decline or terminate stays that do not meet park standards.

General Park Guidelines

  1. Respect fellow campers – No loud music, disruptive behavior, or illegal activities.

  2. Alcohol is allowed at your site but must be consumed responsibly.

  3. Management reserves the right to enforce all rules and remove guests who do not comply.

  4. Zero Tolerance for Threats or Violence — This is a place where families come to relax, and everyone here deserves to feel safe. Violence, threats of violence, and threatening language will be reported to law enforcement immediately, and the guest will be evicted without refund. No warnings, no exceptions.

Campground Etiquette

  1. Tennessee law requires children under 16 to wear helmets while biking.

  2. Bicycles are only allowed on paved blacktop surfaces.

  3. No riding down grassy hills or cutting through campsites.

  4. Please be respectful of pedestrians and small children.

  5. Campfires are only permitted in approved fire rings.

Smoking Policy

  1. No smoking in the office, store, community barn, bathhouses, laundry room, or pool area.

  2. Please dispose of cigarette butts in approved trash containers — not in fire rings or on the ground.

Golf Cart/ATV Policy (if applicable)

  1. Golf cart/ATV drivers must have a valid driver's license.

  2. Golf carts/ATVs are to be driven on park roads only. Do not drive in grass areas.

  3. Personal golf carts/ATVs require proof of insurance.

  4. Golf carts/ATVs driven after sunset must have lights on.

  5. Golf carts/ATVs must be parked in the designated area at the boat dock.

Boats/Trailers/ Docks Policy (if applicable)

  1. Boats, trailers, and additional vehicles must be parked in the boat area parking lot – not at the campsite.

  2. All boats and trailers need to be taken off the park property no later than November 30th. 

  3. Any boats or trailers left on site after that date will be charged $100.00/month storage.

  4. All children 12 years of age and younger are REQUIRED to wear a Coast Guard approved PFD (personal flotation device) while on the docks.

  5. Swimming on the boat ramps, A-Dock, B-Dock, Fish cleaning Dock, and Launch Dock is prohibited.

TVA Requirements (if applicable)

  1. No wooden decks around campers – Pavers are acceptable.

  2. No delivery of mail to individual campers or campsites.

  3. No private mailboxes.

  4. No use of Liquid Propane tanks greater than 50 gallons in size and not an integral manufactured component of a camping unit.

  5. No occupying the same campsite for more than 11.5 months in any 12 month consecutive period (unless by exception and approved in writing by TVA).

Lake Policy (If applicable)

  1. No swimming in lake.

  2. No motor boating in lake.

  3. No ice skating on lake.

  4. No ice fishing on lake.

  5. Fishing in the lake is catch and release only.

  6. Guests may have up to 2 guests when fishing.

RV Park Booking Policy: 

To secure your reservation at our RV parks, the following deposit requirements apply:

  • Nightly Stays: Full payment is due when you book.

  • Weekly Stays: Full payment is due when you book.

  • Monthly Stays: 50% due is required when booking, with the remaining balance due at check-in.

All payments must be made via a valid credit or debit card, or through bank ACH transfer.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations 7+ days before arrival: Full refund

  • Cancellations 5–6 days before arrival: 50% refund

  • Cancellations 3–4 days before arrival: 25% refund

  • Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival, after arrival, or no-show: Non-refundable

Cancellations are subject to an administrative fee of $75, or 50% of the refund amount, whichever is less. This fee may be waived at the discretion of park management. (Example: a $400 refund is reduced by $75; a $60 refund is reduced by $30.)

Refund Policy

  • No refunds for early departures, no shows, or bad weather conditions. 

  • Sites you select are subject to change based on availability options. 

  • We do offer a $20.00 charge to lock in your site selection.

  • The rates displayed do not include any applicable service fees, charges for optional incidentals.

Media: Unless written notice is provided to management prior to your stay at the park, guests consent to the use of photographs or video that may include their image for advertising, website, and social media use by the campground, and guests also consent to receive campground text messaging and emails related to marketing and events.

CAMPING WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

     For and in consideration for being permitted by RV There Yet, LLC d/b/a Made in the Shade to participate in camping activities, I on behalf of and my children, parents, heirs, assigns, personal representatives and estate hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for damages for personal injury, death or property damage which I may have, or which may hereafter accrue to me, as a result of participation in camping.  This release is intended to discharge in advance Made in the Shade (its officers, employees, and agents) from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation in camping, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above.

     It is understood that this activity involves an element of risk and danger of accidents and knowing those risks, I hereby assume those risks. It is further agreed that this waiver, release and assumption of risk is to be binding on my heirs and assigns. I agree to indemnify and to hold Made in the Shade (its officers, employees and agents) harmless from any loss, liability, damage, cost or expense, including attorney's fees and expenses, which they may incur as a result of my death or any injury or property damage that I may sustain while participating in camping.  

     I HAVE HAD SUFFICIENT TIME to read this Release of Liability and Waiver Agreement, including the Terms and Conditions of this Waiver and should I choose to do so, consult with legal counsel prior to signing.  I acknowledge that I fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it and acknowledge that I sign it freely and voluntarily without any inducement and agree to be bound by its terms.  I understand that  the failure to comply with the campground rules , will result in my immediate expulsion from Made in the Shade.

BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, I AGREE THAT IF I AM HURT OR MY  PROPERTY IS DAMAGED DURING MY PARTICIPATION IN ANY ACTIVITY ON THESE PREMISES, THEN I MAY BE FOUND BY A COURT OF LAW TO HAVE WAIVED MY RIGHT TO MAINTAIN A LAWSUIT AGAINST MADE IN THE SHADE ON THE BASIS OF ANY CLAIM OF NEGLIGENCE.
