Mark Twain Cave Complex boasts a beautiful campground nestled into the hollow. With 99 campsites varying from sunny to shaded. These range from full hook up to electric to basic tent sites. For your convenience, you'll have access to laundry facilities, free WiFi, and basic camping supplies at the giftshop. There are so many things to enjoy while you stay at the Mark Twain Cave Complex! Within walking distance of your site you can enjoy the Mark Twain Cave, Cameron Cave, the Cave Hollow Winery and Event Center, a walking trail, and even sluicing for gemstones.     The campground was excellent, and I don’t think there is a bad camping spot in it. Staff members were helpful and friendly every time. I took off one star because the bath house was pretty rough: one stall (out of two) was inoperable, sink soap dispensers didn’t work, and long-dead bugs were everywhere. If you don’t use the bath house at all, it’s a beautiful campground. Even if you do, it’s still quite nice.

    Nice campground. Our site was tree covered and mostly level. Some of the other sites were pretty sloped.

    The campground staff was amazing and the Hannibal trolley was a great experience! Also, the campground offered the usual amenities and was very quiet.
