Martens Resort is extremely clean and well appointed. The lake views are stunning at sunset and sunrise. This was our second time staying at the campground while passing through the area but definitely need to make a special trip to stay longer and enjoy all the amenities that are offered.

It’s a very small and familiar campground. The view to the lake was very beautiful. The owners are very plesent, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed two very nice days there. We also picked out own fresh eggs. They are very good!

We did have to drive 6 hours, but Martens exceeded our expectations. We choose a quiet spot on the lake, which was something out of National Geographic with the loons calling. There is everything you could need for your stay, with water sports being featured. And remember what your mother used to say, “leave the place better than you found it”. Well thats impossible here, everywhere you look it’s so clean. Thanks to Jeff and Laura for their hospitality.
