Was originally at a site that was nice but a little too close to my neighboor and not big enough for two tents (59) but the staff was SUPER accomidating in letting me switch to another site that was PERFECT for us! IF you're considering tent camping, pay attention to the back row (highest point) sites 20-26. These provide more privacy and great overlook of the park. Yes, water and electric and a few dollars more, but worth it. When you arrive, keep a lookout for the new quad bathhouse - bathrooms. They were amazing! All in one bathroom - shower plus toilet in a singular heated room - for total privacy. Super clean and well designed. Can't wait to camp here again next season and do some paddling and fishing. Also, it's not just campground but a huge public park so friends can come and spend time easly. Was very please with my experience of this campground/park!

The only downfall we experienced was the fact they did not have Wi-fi. Everything else was excellent!

Great campsite my only complaint is the restrooms. Same issue for the last three years. They need to be cleaned or maintained better.

The campground is really nice but not very good for a bigger RV. We have a 38 ft RV and maneuvering was difficult

The perfect place for us! We drove a Class A motorhome and stayed for four days in September. We were given a shady spot, close to the showers and rest rooms. We had water and electricity. The beach on the lake was wonderful to swim in - and my family is picky about clean! This was lovely and so close to wildlife and healthy lake environment. Staff was on top of everything. Easy off from the interstate and yet felt very remote. Lightning bugs - in mid-September! Otherwise, not much other bugginess. We had an all day picnic with local family and went all the way from warm enough to swim to cool enough for campfire and s'mores! This is our first time here (and first time with RV!) and we look forward to coming back again and again.

The campground was absolutely wonderful! We stayed at one of the lake front sites and loved the view! The bathhouse was always clean and the campground store was also very convenient! The campground hosts were so kind and helpful!

Melton Hill Dam TVA is a typical state park. Our 5th stay. Off the beaten path. Our site (29) was not level gravel, we have stayed in 12 before, which we much better, bathrooms very clean, laundry super clean & machines worked well, and lots of trees around; ok camp store, family-friendly, and staff are amazing. Not too far to get to a variety food and groceries. Would stay again!
