Midway Campground Resort — Reviews

We made reservations on the phone and was told the site was private and level. We arrived to site 38 and it was anything but level, and private, with tent campers looking in our back window and cabin traffic running through. The electrical has issues and ours surged and kept flipping off ..after our original site electrical box wouldn’t even work. (In which we had to use another box) The water pressure is horrible as well. The camp ground is more of a party type camp ground with trash everywhere. When band started playing Saturday night the employees started table dancing… not sure I’d call it kid friendly- but definitely a party central for wild adults.

The amenities and the staff were great, but it was a challenge getting our 40' class A in and leveled.

The staff was super friendly. The amenities were okay. But the overall campground was noticeably aged. The Arcade smelled like an old casino full of smoke. They had a good amount of ran down “permanent” sites. The site directly in front of our cabin had a ton of trash and building material scattered throughout which wasn’t pleasant to look at. But the cabin was really nice with an awesome porch.

My family loved this campground!! Everyone was very friendly and a lot of fun!! They had the best fireworks we have ever seen!! We will be back !!!

We loved this Campground! It's not too big and camp sites have breathing room. It's clean and has lots for kids and families. My kids loved the beautiful pool, jump pads and hiking around the lake. Everyone is super friendly. Park is maintained well! We will book again next year!

Only stayed one night, but the vibe was great. It’s a lovely little campground and the staff was courteous and helpful. Next time we’ll stay longer.

Super friendly and helpful staff; tons for kids to do; love the patio and huge shade tree that we had on our site. I booked another stay before we left!

My wife and I really enjoyed the camping at midway. Peaceful clean place. We will definitely visit this resort in the future.

Lots of updates needed but they are clearly working on them. A swing we were sitting on totally broke without warning and the beam hit my son. The workers acted like nothing happened. They moved the beam and unhooked the opposite chain and went on their way. All the while my son was crying and has a big bruise on his back. Most wood structures are just suffering from age. The lake is beautiful but the docks and railing are unsafe. Campsites are super small and fire rings are very close to either your camper or the next one. The game room, putt putt, and jumping pillow were fun for the kids. Be prepared for a big hill. Nice little place but needs a lot of work. Staff is friendly and trying to keep up though.
