Mineral Lake Lions Den Campground — Reviews

Nothing special. Not even WiFi. The fact that you have to pay for a dump station when they don't have FHU is a total money grab.

The camp hosts were great always responsive and giving us a ton of info on our trips. The place is clean and they were there when we needed assistance and let us just gaze out over the lake in the mornings and afternoons. Also got to take a great shower in the campground. I am a tall big guy and those rv showers are small and the shower head comes only up to my shoulders. We had a great time. Wish we would have had a few more days to spend but wife had to get back to work.

They have done a great job of cleaning up this park! Very clean showers too.

The environment is very clean, but unfortunately there is no public kitchen can use the microwave to heat and the water dispenser. Booking a campsite with water and electricity, but the tap is not located at the campsite, or staying at a campsite with a tap but the power source is located elsewhere.

The facilities are well maintained and bathrooms cleaned regularly. Our site didn’t have a water spout when we were supposed to so we had to use the neighbor’s which is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. We had a very enjoyable stay and very family friendly.

We had a really good time. Well we were camped at. We had a beautiful view of the lake. We were really close. Did some fishing. There was actually some live country music played just down from our tent from seven to 9 o’clock at night. That was wonderful and right across the street. They had a little pub called the headquarters and we walked over there and had a beer. There was also a annual flea market going on there good times and lastly I just want to say that the staff was friendly and very helpful.

Great spot on the lake! Our sites were a bit tight and the “street lights” on the campsite were pretty bright making it harder to sleep. Very much a family friendly campsite with good access to the lake & Mount Rainier!

We camped in our RV in an electric only site. We had site 18 which sits higher up in the grassy area of the park. It was a little dicey for us to get into our spot due to the uneven ground. Our trailer has a dropped floor in our bedroom area so clearance was within an inch of the ground in a couple spots. Once we were in and set up it was great tho. Park is quite, manager is friendly. I didnt use their toilets but the showers were clean and good sized. The lake was nice to look out on. There's a small corner market within walking distance. I'd recommend choosing a site down lower in the graveled area if its your first time visiting and you have a larger trailer. They're more flat/level. We used this as our launch point for Mount Rainier so didnt spend any time out on the lake.

We booked this site just a week out and were happy to find a place with running water available. The pictures online led us to understand the setting to be quite different than when we arrived. With mountains, trees, and lake all around us, it felt like our spot was in the middle of an open field. It was underwhelming and lacked any privacy.

We love the lake access that this park provides. The spaces are a bit too close and a bit too gravelly but the restrooms are well kept and clean. They’ve recently added showers and laundry. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
