Great campground, Great Lake. Didn’t use the giant beach but did take the dog to the doggy beach several times. My only complaint is that when it gets crowded it feels pretty close. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

They shouldn't advertise rustic sites because the rustic sites are on an open field with no shade. Even the staff didn't recommend them. The campground is mainly families with small kids and A LOT of dogs. There's private property blocking most of the view of the lake and those owners also have dogs that are barky. The kids don't respect the field where the rustic sites are, so you'll have lots of them running through your site because after all, it is an open field wedged between parking areas. There's noise around the clock as well from folks riding their bikes around the field. If you're looking for peace and quiet this is not the place for you. We did tell the office we didn't get what we expected and everyone was afraid to speak to the owner of the campground who doesn't like to be bothered on weekends, which says a lot. No refunds given, even though the refund policy states other applicable terms.

Due to no 50amp power as well as handicap bathroom was not working either. WIFI is also lacking for the size of the park, one would expect it to be available for most of this park. Especially where the seasonal guests are located.

Nice county park on a nice lake - crammed with a parking-lot of a campground. When I plugged my 30-Amp into the pedestal, sparks flew everywhere. I had to switch to the AMP plug with an adapter. It was a very old pedestal. Quiet hours aren’t enforced. The neighbors left their LED’s on all night and partied loudly until 1:00 AM. They were right next to us. We shut all th windows and ran the AC. Needs an upgrade with a reduction in sites.

Campground was safe and fun! Camp host is top notch! Some improvements could be made, trash pick up would be helpful and would be nice to be able to run both AC units at one time without blowing a breaker. All and all we had a great time!
